Default whatever happend to the harbor freight re-fillable aerosol can?

whatever happend to the harbor freight re-fillable aerosol can? years ago i thought about getting one and a little 12 compressor to fill it up with. now i can't seem to find one.

i work on copiers and i go thru alot of can's of air. we have a compressor but its on the other side of the building. i often have to leave to run service calls so i need a portable air source to blow off optical sensors and the like. the cans of air explode if you leave them in the car on a hot day.

I got one a long time ago thinking I could paint with it. It didn't work too well. It might be ok just for air.

They leaked air at the crimped seem and I assume they pulled them because of that.

This is good to know, mine has never leaked I use it all the time. The one I got from HF said to fill it only half full then fill it with air. I use it in conjunction with WD-40 and a few drops of oil.

i talked to the boss. i went armed with research. i figured a case of 10 oz cans of air costs us $48. i go thru a case in a month in a half to 2 months. i got aproval to spend $50 on a 32oz sure shot from grainger. i filled it to about 100psi using our big upright compressor. i only get a little stream of air. not enough to blow dust inside a copier. also it ran out of air in about 45 seconds. i'm sure it would be fine for spraying fluid of some sort but not for straight air. luckily i told the guy at grainger what i was doing and he said as long as i didn't put anything other than air in it and had the box they'd take it back.

any other ideas?
