Default Complete socket listing

Does anybody know where I can get a complete socket listing of all sizes made?
I've looked through the Sears catalog and all they list is "x thru y" And does not detail what sizes are in between.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you asking for every socket size ever made? By anybody?

The Sears 299 piece socket set contains these:

Quote:

But that's not even close to "all socket sizes". There are probably socket sizes up to 4 feet......

You only want Craftsman? Because their metric chrome sizes leave a lot of sizes out. Often if you go to an Industrial site like MSC Direct or Grainger, they will list alll of their sizes offered from three or so different manufacturers.

What do they leave out? Curious, because the only thing I noticed was a 4.5mm 1/4 drive socket (not that I ever needed one, but an old Taiwan ratchet kit dad bought for me when I was 12 came with one).

Not that I did a ton of research on the matter...

I might have been somewhat exaggerating when I said 4 foot, but I was thinking of the cap screws or head bolts for this particular engine.
I don't think Sears carries a socket for this.

Not only that but there are a lot of regular sizes Sears dosen't make or never made at least in certian drive sizes or lenghts for example SK's 1/4 in drive set goes down to 1/8 inch several socket makers have 3/8 sockets that go from 6 to 26MM deep and shallow not skipping any sizes etc. Also Sears (and everyone else) used to produce the 32nd sizes in common sets but no longer do due to a lack of need (interesting enough have seen Toptul socket sets that include these sizes as part of their reguar sets still)

For me, I would like to see their 1/4 drive line add a 5.5mm deep and 15mm shallow and deep sizes.
I would also like to see the 3/8 drive add a 21, 22, and 24mm deep and a 24 mm shallow.
I would like 1/2 drive to add 24 and 27mm sizes.
I'm talking chrome six point sockets here. I don't have much use for 12 points except in those sizes to match 12 point fasteners. It wouldn't be hard to do as Amstrong makes those sizes except for 24mm which is odd because, they make a 26mm. Luckily, SK and most tool trucks have those sizes.

I got the 299pc craftsman socket set, and I have 12 hansen trays. Trust me when I say there is a lot left to be desired. I currently am trying to fill the rest of the missing sockets(about 30 or so) with snap on, but all the sizes I am missing are larger ones really, so its expensive.

Well actually indy, I have $350 for the socket set, another $30 for the snap ons I have, and $125 into my 20 3/4" drive sockets, and that 125 also came with a new ratchet. So thats about $500

I did forget the hansen trays. 2 sets of those will definitely put me over the $600 mark. I still need more trays though indy, I have a ton of sockets left over that didn't fit on the hansen trays
