Was bought for a 1982 Chevy and never used.
Would have to be a 4X4 guy to be interested these days, and even then you would most likely have to shift the trans into gear and the transfer case into neutral for it to work. Although, if the gears were changed to suit another trans you could mount it on another tranny. Most of the PTO cases are standard 6 bolt.

Yeah I would go for it if I wasn't in Texas, it was in Oregon, and I need it to make it to Montana.

Post a picture of this if you will please. I have a transfer case in my 2WD truck and am looking into adding a PTO for a Hydraulic winch.

Doesn't a hydraulic winch take advantage of the power steering pump?

No. Well maybe sometimes. My tow truck has a PTO to run the HYD Pump that runs the boom, wheel lift, and wench.

Yep some do some dont.

Seems the self-recovery type more often use the ps pump, while professional recovery equipment typically use dedicated pumps. (higher demand)

Thanks for the response guys. I was only aware of the PTO driven hydraulic pump for a winch. Never been around the ones attached to the P/S. Learn something new everyday.

PS pump hydraulic winches are show. Here in NZ the winch comp guys run their hydraualic winches off the PTO or front of the crank.

What do you want for it? I have a truck that it would fit on, which might benefit from being able to have hydraulic power. Well, it would definitely benefit from it.

I have a pto for a NP203 (willing to trade or sell), but I have an urgent need for one for a NP205, truck will be out of commission until I get one. If you haven't come to terms with anyone else, let me know. What's the model number of that pto? Is it Muncie or Chelsea? Thx.
