Default Broom finish concrete recomemdations on removing the roughness

Broom finish. What is an inexpensive way of smoothing it out. This floor is wearing my shoes out, holding dust you can sweep and sweep and dust still comes up,only way to get the dust out is a leaf blower. If you scrape old under coating off of a floor pan and step on it will stuck really good and it's hard to get off.My friends talked me into the broom finish.Could I polish it,paint it,clear it.Something inexpensive this is a working floor dust and cleaning it are more important than looks.

If I recall correctly the instructions on some brands epoxy floor paint says it works well over a broom finish.

Only 2 things you can do is to find a suitable coating to fill in the broom marks or grind off the top layer to get it smooth and then polish or coat it with something.

The entire floor was broomed or just the end?

If you want to stop the dusting only you can apply a densifier.

You can spray, roll or mop it on. It will stop the dusting problem forever.
It will do absolutely nothing for the roughness.
