I've seen different boxes in HF that were around for a short run then disappear. I hope they keep this and add a top box or side cabinet. I think youll enjoy your cabinet too.

If I kept all my tools in one place, I might take a look at it. Having just bought the bottom of the line Craftsman Basic tool chest with my $10 off coupon. I can say it will work for me,Liked it much better then the last combo I bought from Sears.
One day I will get A roller, Yet I as most need to clear up floor space.

That is one nice box. If I were a pro, I would opt for S-O too. I kind of like the deep drawer. Brake cleaner, spray paint and other tall stuff can go in there and keeps them off the tops of the work benches. Looks like your cabinet is going into or coming out of storage?

I use the deep draw sets w/ their own cases.
I have them standing on the edge and have them marked. so when i need the tap and dies or the o rings there i go

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is this space all about? Is there anything that this extra space is used for?

I believe he's asking about the wasted space above the top drawer. Looked like 2-3 inches of space you can't use.

That space is open above the top drawer. It is headroom for the lock mechanism

To the OP, congrats on the purchase. That is a LOT of box for the money. A buddy of mine who does aviation work bought that box, and he loves it. I was impressed when I went and checked it out. Slap FULL of tools and the drawers glide nice and easy, great paint finish and build quality.

If I ever grow out of my Matco box and have the itch for more space I'll be buying one of these. Definitely helps I have a HF 15 minutes from me so I just go put in the order and it's brought to the store. No shipping.

Yeah, the space above the top drawer. Wondered why it is so big and/or the top drawer isn't taller.

Does anyone know the next time this box will be available for less than $799? I need a new box asap but prefer to pay less than retail if possible.

I eye hump that box everytime I go into HF. I wish the 41" box had the same briliant finish on it.

Will the Shop20 code work on this box? Any one try it?

Any one used the Shop20 code in Northern California.

I tried plugging the shop20 code in on the website with a second item in the cart and it did apply the discount to give the lower price. Would the local store honor it? That I don't know. I know I've seen this thing cheaper than $799. I just can't remember when or where.

I just looked one over for the first time the other day, it looked like a good box for the money. Enjoy.

Are the drawers keyed alike? I have the 42' top chest, bottom roller, and the side locker and they are all keyed different.

BTW - Great looking box.

I've been to HF and checked out this box. I don't think you can get a box this decent for anywhere near this kind of money. It looked plenty sturdy to me. If I hadn't already bought an International roll away box, top and side cabinet combo, I would have purchased two of these for the same money. Live and learn. A great box for the money......
