I just found this and had to share… Ian is missing four fingers on his left hand. Youâ€™d think that would slow him down in the shop, but no… Instead, heâ€™s turned it into an opportunity of sorts.

Beautiful innovation. He should contact a major manufacturer of prosthetic devices and perhaps get it patented. A few extra bucks can't hurt in these uncertain times.

Milwaukee should offer him any tool he want for modification with the proviso he post the successes and failures. EVERY inventor has failures !

Thats wicked cool! I, myself do not have a left hand and I love his idea of getting things done without stopping him from being a handyman.

I used to install security systems and did one for an Air Force vet in a wheel chair. He had a NICE wood shop and had modified every tool, stand, bench, etc to be at a good height for him in his chair. Its great to see people with a passion who overcome their disabilities and make the best of it.

How can i do what i want to after an injury, accident or health issue?

By doing what Ian Davis did... Adapt and Overcome the challenge!
