Dear Garage Journal, What does a $75,000 garage door look like?
Dear reader, see above…
Signed,
The Jealous…
P.S. Anyone know anything about this door other than the cost? It looks old, but?
The more interesting question is, what's inside a garage with a $75,000 door?Dear Garage Journal, What does a $75,000 garage door look like?
It doesn't look like it's much of a garage.... But the door itself is super neat!

Make sure to scroll all the way through the pictures, their is a video of the door opening and closing at the end!
That is industrial art masquerading as a door and very high on the cool factor but its so outside my league its hard to even imagine something like that.

I guess this is the stuff you buy when you have so much cash that you don't know what to do with it.
I hope the owner knows that SK day is coming.
It's nice. I'd rather a horizontal bifold found on aircraft hangars. That one, the pivot seems pushed low to allow the door to counterbalance itself, reducing the effective entry height of the door.

FYI - the contractor Olson Kundig uses for their architectural gizmos is Turner Exhibits. OKA buildings are known for their mechanical features.
