New Alliance Tags… Finally…

It’s shameful how far behind I am and how late these tags are. Sincerely. But, they just got in today and I should be recovered enough from surgery by next week to start shipping them. Thank you guys so much for your patience. Hopefully, this new design makes up for some of the tardiness… I sure am proud of them.

I never got mine when I joined the alliance earlier this year but those look amazing and were totally worth the wait.

Please forgive my naiveté. It looks cool, but what is it and what purpose does it serve? Where is it meant to go?

You screw it to the trunk of your car with drywall screws.

Or...

Bolt it to your tool box... with fancy bolts that require a rare bit that has no purpose in reality.

Or...

Rivet it to your toolbox...

Surely missing something, but I wouldn't attach one to my tool box even if I was paid to do so. Why would you pay money to do that? :headscrat The date / serial number thing is real serious.

Sorry.:)

You obviously aren't the guy that I serve then. And that's totally cool, but don't be a **** about it. That's not cool at all.

TGJ is free... This is just for guys that want to help out a little.

So.. how do you get one? Become a paying member?

These are extremely nice. How can I acquire one?

Yeah, it's part of our alliance deal. More info here:

I wasn't intending to come across that way. Not at all. This is the hard part of written words rather than speaking. The tone. There was some humor about this just before my input. I was just expounding on that. I don't really have the money for hats, badges or what have you, but I do spread the garage journal gospel for free, to my friends and folks I bump in to.

I joined! Both to help out, and because this tag is the bees knees.

This forum has helped fuel my deep curiosities about increasing function and efficiency of my small garage. Maybe someday I will have the time to write the thread of my own build, but in the meantime I certainly enjoy reading others and brainstorming new projects! Thanks Ryan and team!

I'm about to pull the trigger on an Alliance membership to show some appreciation for the effort that's gone into this upgrade.

Two quick questions - is the tag pictured above the still the current tag? And will you ship one to Australia if I join the Alliance?
