Who knows?
$120 for the set and $40 for the 13mm, bought on Amazon USA but shipped from Amazon J. Tone also makes a 19mm and 8mm but no 11,15, or 18. Don't really need the bigger ones but I could have been sold on an 11 and 15 if they had them..
That’s a good deal. I could go for the smaller sizes as well.

I fully underestimated how big these were when I ordered them lol. For reference, I’m 6’4” and my hands are 8” long.

Not too sure how well those will work on external rings, looks like tips are bent in or is that just the picture?

One side is bent slightly. The plan was to use them for internal snap rings on my upper and lower control arm uniballs, but I’m thinking they’re gonna be too big tip diameter wise. The tips may bend a little straighter with use.

Had to pick this up for my swollen nuts. Whoever thought putting a chrome cap on a lug nut was a good idea should be fired. 71513599178__0028D67C-F856-4FDF-BED5-7E49D1148325.jpeg71513598099__71F1DFC5-22CD-4534-8FE7-F7F87844196B.jpeg

I'm late with this and catching up, so sorry if others mentioned it, but when I realized I was dealing with regular lug nuts with stupid chromed sheet metal cladding on them -- and an experienced outdoorsman I know told me of his tale of being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no lug wrench socket that fit what was under the cladding -- I took his advice and got McGard chromed lug nuts and never looked back. Really nice and they've held up for years and many miles/tire rotations now.

(Disclaimer, very little road salt exposure here.)

Big day for me. I scored in ebay Kleinganzeigen a full set 5.5-32 of Stahlwille open box 13s, unused. After careful consideration, I had desided that this was the best wrench pattern for my taste. List price 550€ , amazon de price 350€, I got these for 195€ shipped. No insurance though.

There are several custom saddle makers here in Wickenburg. Every one uses a rawhide maul for striking their leatherworking tools.

This discussion is giving me flashbacks of Leatherworking merit badge at Camp Yawgoog!

Personally, I'm not a fan of that style of mallet...they are extremely expensive, heavier than I like, and not as practical as a more traditional style mallet/hammer
Expensive they are, but just a business expense for those doing it for a living. They do come in different weights, but the lightest seems to be 2lb. Watching them work, they seem, somehow, to let the weight work for them. They make the maul look like an extension of their hand. And they all prefer that style, so there must be some sort of advantage when working with it full time.

Why? Yours came with 6 more wrenches and an easier warranty.

MisterWorker also has a 12-piece metric set. The MAC metric set is a 14-piece.

Definitely not worth double+ the price for an additional 2 wrenches.

I'd also sacrifice the MAC warranty for the cost savings.

Now that’s something I could definitely use!
I had the same thought. They're a bit rare at the moment (guessing they were announced recently). But when I watched the video on the Lisle site, I'm not as excited as I thought I was. For the cars I work on, I don't really have that connector (or at least not much). I've been using my short hose pliers to get the dual-tab electrical connectors though, and have wished for something made-for-the-purpose when they're being grumpy...

I ordered them from ToolDiscounter. A three week wait, according to the site. I can wait, they look like a big time saver for future projects.

I think there's a few of those on my 2005 Explorer. But you're right, my biggest problem are the older style with the clips that almost dry rot in place. They hold fine until you need to remove them, at which point they're totally brittle and no longer flexible enough to remove without breaking.

I bought the 12-piece USAG 285x wrenches from Mister Worker couple months back, $130 + $20ish shipping. Took around 2 weeks to arrive, zero issues.
Mac is 6-19mm & USAG is 8-19Mm
It was a win win for me, don‘t need 6-7mm and half the price.

Want to have up to 24mm, maybe USAG will eventually release 20-24mm IDK. If not then have to spend $$$ Mac or I’m leaning toward jumping brands and getting Wright 2.0’s.

I feel like crying. I paid $250+tax for my metric Mac set.
Eh, 8 piece set (~$121 shipped to me) compared to Mac's 14 piece set for $250+tax. Slight premium per wrench from Mac (~$15 vs. ~$18). Plus warranty through your tool truck.
EDIT: I see the 12 piece set. Even still 12 piece USAG is $13 per wrench. I don't know. Wouldn't matter too much to me at that point. I would still probably just buy the wrenches I need individually as I only work on the same stuff a lot of the time.

Our Mac guy takes care of us so it works out. Money is a little tight at the moment with inflation and my current situation so seeing the $133 vs $250 hurts a bit but thats life.. They are my favorite wrenches by a long shot though.

Labor Day lines up pretty well with my birthday, and Fireball tool had 15% off on their squares. Seemed like an easy call.

A pair of the Mutant squares in each aluminum and cast iron, and a pair of each of the smaller 4” & 6” Mega and Monster squares in aluminum. I already have the 8” and 12” versions.

Summer is almost over and I have a bunch of welding projects queued up.

Today’s delivery thanks to DRPD!

Koken 1/4” and 1/2” extension sets to replace/upgrade my existing assortment. I already have the 3/8” set that I picked up from Amazon when the price was ~$50 recently. Love these over the standard chromes.

Norbar TTi50 torque wrench. I’ve been getting by with a crappy Pittsburgh in-lb unit for several years and I needed something that handled below 20 ft lbs where my precision unit bottoms out. I was between this and a CDI and figured I’d see what the UK had to offer.

CLC tool belt and drill holster. I finally decided that I didn't want to keep climbing up and down a ladder or worry about dropping my drill/driver. Probably going to kick myself for not doing this sooner. I also ordered some terminals to keep in my electrical drawer.

Nice holster! I should get one of those. I've dropped too many tools from the top of stepladders over the years.

I've made my own set of terminals, bought a small fishing tackle divider, and filled it with terminals I commonly use. I've bought bigger sets in the past, but find that there are several types (like the U-shaped ones) that I just never use.
