Probably 40 years ago, I bought a Delta tablesaw (made in Milwaukee) from a Miami factory which had been sold and was being demo'ed. I used it until I got a Powermatic 66, and then it went into storage. It's been there for decades. I pulled it out and am going to clean it up and put it for sale. The belt-drive motor works fine.

I sanded the outside today, using a mule-skinner twisted-steel wire cup and then a wire wheel. The inside is too-much of a chore to do that way. I'm going to try to get my small sandblaster pot working.

The trunions. I used PB Blaster on all the pivots & gears. The saw blade axle was badly in-need of lubrication. It spins freely now. I don't think I'll tear it down completely for sanding/painting. Make it work smoothly & looking good from the outside, and put it up for sale.

Back to work on this 2007 F250.

Hard miss on #1. Everything works electrically, low compression.
Previously I did a sketchy leakdown test. Inconclusive.

Rocker arm failure and bent pushrods are pretty common on these, so I decided to take a look.

Ripped some stuff off

It's a big mess. Rocker arms and pushrods are good. Problem is elsewhere....

I will do a 'naked' leakdown test next. (No rocker arms)

Probably a dumb question, but I assume you checked the injector for that cylinder?

Finally mounted my recently found Waterloo side caddy box. Not an exact match but pretty close. It must weigh 150 lbs but I got it hanging on there myself without scratching anything up. It doesn't seem to bug my OCD as much as I thought it would but would love to find one for the other side. Now to find something useful to store on the surface.

I'm a bit of an organization freak, but I prefer to diy and save $$ where I can. I've been waiting for the newUS General Power and Air Tool Organizer to be in stock at my local HF.

Had to cut a few inches off the height to get it to fit in my KRL.

Well since I don’t tend to do my web browsing during the week…..hell I ain’t even been on Amazon this week!

been tightening up little things on the Bronco, now she runs damn smooth! Just need to wire the sniper into an on/off switch on the Center console for now then when the dash chrome pieces come I will wire it into the ignition switch and some relays.

finally cleaned up my battery compartment of the cabinet and mounted the chargers to be permanently off my bench.325A2A83-66C5-4AC5-91C3-8F88D0C2DDE0.jpeg

Worked in my dad's garage. He's 93 and needs some handrails in the house. My brother took him to see mom at the care home to keep him from helping me.
I didn't have any of my tools so I had to use his. Don't know where anything is. Couldn't find a tape measure. Had to use a sewing yard stick. I found my old toolbox and it had all the scraps of sandpaper I put in it 40 years ago.
All done. Dad will paint them.

I spent some time last night tracing the speaker wiring in my MCM stereo cabinet as it's a complicated setup with 6 speakers in each side of the cabinet. Someone has been in there messing with things so I am trying to figure out what they did and then trying to infer why they "tweaked" things? I will install the replacement crossover capacitors while I'm in there.

My confusion pertains to 2 external "satellite" speaker connections. When you make connections there it seems to "disable" some of the internal cabinet speakers but someone has done something to the jacks. Oh joy . . .

Finished all the welding and mounted the top on the Hydraulic Lift Table to service my mobility scooter and wheeled generators. The loading ramp has yet to be installed, that step is scheduled for next Saturday.

Two vanity chairs had their caster sockets replaced.

Got the floor swept and trash taken out.

That’s awesome.

Wish my sister was as supportive as your Brother. It seems whatever decision I make for the best care my mom (she’s 83) can get in the home, she circumvents for her own selfishness…..now ‘they‘ have decided no matter what the doctors, nurses and me(who is power of attorney, personal director and executor) say……moms gonna stay at my sisters place for 4 nights now. She thinks she knows it all….I am fully prepared for that phone call that something has happened at the house. Always happens when one of the two know I am not within an hour response time.

Similar experience here. I did what was necessary so as to have no regrets. After Mom and Dad passed, it did not take long for the last straw, at which point I blocked my sister on every device. Did my duty. When it was done, so was I.
