and so this chapter is going to be a repeat I guess 
! One built in 1898 the replacement 1907 ! After a friend came over to use my shear he decided to shear some 1/8 aluminum diamond plate and cracked the blade and the table casting. I guess when you don't have a capacity sticker it's free game for trying to cut whatever you want
By far my oldest and most valued tool in my shop. Looks like I have some work ahead of me again!
not sure what just happened but somehow I went to go look at a truck for a friend turned into him backing out and me deciding that I really needed another project!

Getting close on the Cutlass?
Memorial day means more to me than you know! After making this flag and frame using my Father's and Grandfather's tools I never thought that it would come back to me so soon! My dad was lucky he made it home to spend many more years with his family. Lots of men and women did not didn't!. I wish more people realize what the day off of work is for!Myself working on Memorial day trying to get the Cutlass finished up and the details are what makes a difference!
Got lucky and got a few of the last sets of Hoosier pulleys awesome billet pulleys before him closing the door and retired!.

Looks good....so far. Time for some fenders over the back wheels and some custom paint?
Well the scooter mods were a complete failure! The solid rear axle apparently was a bad idea ! Way worse than expected!! I knew that it was going to fight around sharp corners however the slightest steering input going straight would put it into death wobble! 
Back to the drawing board again
Note to self wheels Must be individual!
More cutting and chopping individual spindles and some kart hubs were the ticket and she works like a champ now!
Complete game changer for my mobility!! I can drive it right into Menards and drive home!
Had quite a few people asking about the range and I thought well let's find out!?
Turns out about 7 miles is it!
Unfortunately I live about 7-3/4 miles away and I had to call a friend to come over and pick me up
. Well now we know! More mods coming up shortly

One thing about Eric, whos also a MW like me…..is no matter what hits us, we tend to keep plugging away!
my life feels like a real live version of a Wack a mole game. Only there is only 5 holes to pop my head out of and 100 people with hammers ready to hit me back down the hole again! I just can't get a break! Bought a rust free 97 Silverado 3/4 ton with a locked up motor for my soon to be daily driver. Found out it was in a flood and everything is toast! Motor, transmission,transfer case,both front and rear differential all filled with water and it had been sitting for years! 
! . The truck was from Lusk Wyoming and I did a quick YouTube search and a video came up with my truck floating down a river 
If that wasn't bad enough we got blasted with another monster hail storm and everything got annihilated again! Cars,trucks, house, garage!
Everything I own is covered in hail dents ! Same time my water heater went out, washing machine **** the bed and central air went out as well. ! Just getting a azz kicking of a lifetime lately!
