Appears it was a very impressive show! Lots of coverage on YouTube and the amount of beautiful vehicles was outstanding! Thanks again Mark for keeping us informed on your fantastic works of art! I’m in Parrish Florida and would love to stop in sometime to not only meet you but to see everything you have and are working on! I’ll have to get your address soon and pay you a visit when it works for you! Thanks Bud

Hello guys its been a minute since I posted but I wanted to share the Corvette with you. Its painted and currently in the wiring stage. Still working on the September deadline for the Triple Crown in Nashville this year. I have a little over 2.5 months to get it finished. My Instagram is Marks Hotrod Garage.

Mark, Thanks for the images and checking in. Heading to any Good Guys functions or just focused on getting to Nashville?
Yes I do plan on attending the Goodguys shows. I know I'll go to the one in Texas and definitely the one in Columbus at a minimum in 2025. After this September I'll go to any show as I want to get the Corvette out and show it as much as possible.

That does look good.

I look forward to seeing it at the show in Nashville.
Unfortunately in the last 4 days I have had a setback on the Corvette that is probably going to keep me from attending. Its the frustrating part that typically happens when building cars. I'm really disappointed about it but not much I can do. I will keep you posted.

Oh I am sure you are pretty disappointed that making the show might not happen.

Will you still attend even with the car?

Thank you for the update.

A few months ago Diesel World magazine did a 4 page article plus a cover photo of the 54 Ford. I was really happy it got published in a magazine. After the photo shoot I decided to re do the interior. I did all of the door panels here in the shop. I installed the carpet and then working with a friend of mine we used copper leaf on the dashboard. Unfortunately the color is really dull in these photos as it really looks cool seeing it in person. I did order the seat from TMI and it came out real nice. Officially I have finished the 54 Ford as there is nothing else left to do other than maintain it. This truck I would consider a keeper as its so unique. I hope you like it.

We are still working on assembly of the Corvette. I did take this picture from the back and loving the lower valance. This is going much slower than aticipated but we just got to keep rolling. I did have a milestone yesterday as I dropped the lincoln off at the interior shop. I am hoping to get it back by the end of October.

mark, sorry to hear about the body shop prison for the vette, the lincoln is looking great ... too... as mentioned above (you being a truck guy at heart) do you have any future plans for another C10 build?

No i wont be building another c10 since i have the van. As i look back i wish i would have located the c10 i built and bought it. It’s depressing thinking about all the projects i should have kept!

Mark are you going to Nashville? I know not without the Lincoln or the Vette but you have couple of other nice rides.
I have decided not to go. I got my Triple Crown tickets in the mail a few days ago and i was feeling sorry for myself for a minute! Lol. Right now i am still in the unpredictable stage. Its a nightmare building cars sometimes. Just throw a massive amount of money and time into a custom build….,.and thats where I’m at. (He says sarcastically). Ha ha I promise when i have any photo updates i will post them.

One more thing…….i’m in the garage 7 days a week😀

Hey guys sorry for the delay responding. We had hurricane Milton and it hit about 6 miles north of us. Many homes were wiped on the face of the earth. We were lucky to not suffer any damage to our homes. I was worried about my 200 year old oak trees might blow over. Fortunately we did not loose any trees but we had an amazing amount of branch's, twigs, and leaves on the ground. We raked all the lawn to the driveway where I was able to use my Bobcat with a grapple bucket to take it out to the road. We have been working 5 days to get it all cleaned up.

The Lincoln is at the interior shop and they are working on it. I have the guys who used to work for me doing the interior. They are over the top good and have even done interiors for the Roadster shop. I should have the Lincoln back within 30 days. I will share some preliminary photos of the work.
