Still “tweaking” my sander stand.
Reshaped the lower saddle to better fit the round bodies on my Bosch RO sander as well as my trusty Porter Cable sander.
Completed pics of the stand and table soon, I promise.
With the correct blade my saber saw cut the 3/8” thick saddle quite easily.
Some file work and a drum sander in my Milwaukee right angle grinder cleaned the cuts up well.

@PugetDude and others for recommending that cordless Milwaukee.
I don’t have a large enough compressor at this house to have used my air grinders on this job without a lot of waiting for the compressor to catch up.
Also, the 5A battery is a must IMO for larger jobs.
