Wonder if the in store rules would allow it?

There is a special buy of the packout two drawer and three drawer for 250 that would be nice if it stacked deals
It's not a listed item at any of the retailers running the promo. I've seen very low stock of it, so it may not have had enough volume to take part. But at the same time, the PO vac or light isn't part of BMSM ever.

You sort of can stack deals with that. The benefit of buying deals as one item SKU, is rather than it take off the $$ in cart, it takes it off the price before the cart. That will allow you to then stack a coupon, or have your military discount be more effective.

I can't kill my M18 Milwaukee Drill -- it's seven years old, NOT Brushless, and I use it continuously wire-brushing rust off items..........replaced the chuck once and the whole shooting match might outlive me.

Bought a Brushless M18 Milwaukee Drill two years ago thinking the above would die soon -- fooled me and the new one just sits in its original package.

That's the reason that I buy professional quality tools even though I am a DIY guy.

I too have an old brushed M18 drill I can’t kill but is on its second chuck (there’s a common theme here…). Have a new brushless one that puts it to shame though.

Funny as the drills are known for being pretty bad. The chucks are **** out of the box and I've had a non-brushless and a brushless die on me, both were only a few years old.

That being said, those are the only 2 Milwaukee failures I've experienced, both M18 Drills.
There seemed to be a real quality issue with the drills a few years back. My original M18 stuff from a couple decades ago was solid. 5-6 years ago I bought all the crew all new stuff, of which every single one of the drills **** the bed in one form or another. The latest models (last couple years) seem to have solved the issues.

I really like the single battery shop vac. I use it far more than I thought I would. It really needs a 12.0 battery though.

I’m looking for a deal on the M18 track saw. I’ll probably just buy the Wen 110v saw, but if I found a deal on the Milwaukee I’d splurge. $299 for a refurbished is the cheapest I’ve found.

Yeah, just under $300 seems to be a pretty firm bottom unless you go into the used or fell-off-the-truck market.
The kit can get down to about $425 which is a little better if a 6.0 battery and xl packout are worth >$125 to you.

The Wen track is a great deal, though, about 1/4 the price of the Milwaukee!
And HD makes it pretty painless to get straight track. Order extra, pick the straight pieces, and return the rest.
(Even Festool and Milwaukee's high priced track have a pretty high rate of not quite straight track).

I would spring for a kit at $425. Unfortunately adding something pack out would probably end up costing me hundreds if not thousands in upgrading from my current Rigid setup. I keep telling myself I really don’t want red boxes for everything. You can order the black pack out from Europe, but $$$.

I can fit a double stack of the Rigid in the frunk of my Ford Lightning. Then I see this and get very interested.

No experience with this website but seems legit. The SDS rotary hammer and Sawzall are pretty tempting at 50%.

Scroll down a bit to find the Milwaukee deals.

Thank you for this. It was finally the motivation I needed to order the M18 inflator. I know Home Depot had a deal a little while ago after returning a battery, but my local ones were out of stock.

This place seems legitimate. It has a physical address and company logo visible on Street View. We'll see!

I was in the same boat for the inflator. I got my tracking number today!

Clark's Tools located in the metro Kansa City area has some decent deals on Milwaukee M12 stuff. they are an authorized dealer.

Shipping is free with $400 otherwise seems to be $15 flat rate.

I picked up a couple of the 5.0 batteries for $59

no tax charged unless you are in Kansas or Missouri.

I’m seeing $15 shipping on two of the $59 5.0 batteries. Amazon has them for $64 shipped prime, $7 cheaper on a pair.

There are some decent deals on Clarks Tools.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll head over to Home Depot to see if they’ll price match otherwise I’ll order one online.

Also, I’d be worried about the authenticity of a battery through Amazon.
There are plenty of reputable resellers, but just as many that aren't legitimate, and not fun hunting for them.
However, say you do get a legimate reseller, just by how things are sold they will likely be dated older than the battery bought from a retailer. So if you are able to get it warrantied, you will have even less time.

I’m primarily concerned about items shipped from Amazon due to their inventory pooling practices. It’s a double edge sword that results in faster processing and transit times but can be a nightmare when dealing with higher end items.

Price isn't everything. Authorized vs non-authorized seller. Full warranty vs lesser or maybe no warranty.
Pretty much all Milwaukee tools carry a 5 year manufacture warranty that does not require any proof of purchase and is stupid easy to use. I don’t know that a vendors warranty would mean anything to me.

I could be wrong, but without a receipt or if you purchased from a non authorized reseller the warranty starts at the manufacturer date and not the sale date like it normally would.

That is true, but 5 years is a long time. I still don't think it would matter to me. Most of my Milwaukee stuff 5 years or older has been replaced due to better performance of newer models anyway. But you are right; you could squeeze out a few more months of warranty if you had legitimate proof of purchase.

Which one? I was looking at the Hexon tough shell for $150. I grabbed a hoodie for $70
It was the tough shell. I have the first gen jacket and it's probably at least 7 or 8 years old. The new jacket fits and looks better but the battery compartment doesn't seem as nice. We will see how it goes.

Speaking of the heated gear, have you guys seen the square/flat battery pack they came out with just for the heated jackets? I didn't even know it was a thing until a few weeks ago.

Now that I've moved out of the PNW and back to SoCal where I belong, I don't really need the heated gear so I haven't been keeping up with those offerings but I thought this battery was pretty cool when I saw it.

@Rusty67

That battery is cool. I am pretty much naturally warm so in our moderate climate I would rarely need the heated gear either.

But Mrs. Crabman is a tiny person and she is cold all the time. A smaller battery and some programmable features look like something she might like. She is into gadgets. At least gives me an idea for her birthday (late Sept) or Christmas.

Thanks for the post!
