After making the Flyweelers trifecta (Nov., Jan., Feb.,) this year for the first time ever, I think it’s safe to say I’m happy with my finds.
If anyone cares to look back back:

Working backwards yet to catch up on posting. This is one of my favorite hauls I can think of, just for the oddities. Plus, a holy grail item I’ve been searching for for a long time.
JAN. haul:
-An interesting old Jacobson Machine Manufacturing Co Vise
From Warren, PA, 1901 patent. Already posted in the vise thread.
I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking at as I saw a dirty old vise on the ground under a seller’s table. Still a bit unsure on the swivel base status (possibly repaired to become non-swivel).
The seller told me make an offer, then tells me 5 bucks. Despite weighing my bag down, I saw the date plus how unique it looked, and couldn’t say no!

Hand tools:
-An odd Williams SPECIAL socket on a bar
-Herbrand doe
-couple Cornwell ancient/oldies
-Wardmastr 3/8” ratchet and breaker by Wright. After finding the ratchet I was happy to find the breaker to match at the seller’s large booth, and also happy to add these to the collection as I didn’t have them.
-Ridgid 3/8” ratchet by Thorsen. Another I was quite happy to add to my collection.
-Thorsen 3/8” ratchet
-odd Schollhorn cutter. Maybe for small hoses?
-Red Devil pliers
-Cornwell and Proto 3/4 dr. Impacts

-Armstrong Saltus
-Truth oddball pliers. Dust cap?
-Cornwell specialty single end angle wrench
-unknown spring grease tool
-Duro grease tool
-Cornwell (red) possible spring grease tool, found with the others. Hard to see#
- 2x “The Lauber” file handles
-Snap-On Buick service wrench from 1928
-Snap-On 1/4” flextension
-Blue-Point oldie scraper
-Facom 12 pt 10mm L wrench
-Husky old 5/8” drive sockets assortment
-Williams SPECIAL NAF bent doe wrench
-Misc sockets:Walden 3/4 dr., Craftsman 1/2” BE swivel,
Snap-On non spark coated socket, 2 Companion sockets similar to Craftsman =V=, Snap-On deep 10mm, Harley Davidson plug socket, S-K custom era ext., shutter wing nut bit, one Mac impact.
-Snap-On non spark 1/2” breaker bar. I was thrilled to find that guy. Already posted in Snappy thread.
-Mac screw starter
-Belzer wire cutters. Fine polished, looks NOS condition.
-Fairmount 4” adjustable
-Vulcan 4” adjustable

The following three items came from the ladies with the great antique wrench collection. These are all I could muster. I tried about every negotiating tactic I know other than begging on another item, and the girl wouldn’t budge.
As I wrote back in January, prices were wild or I would have loved to bring home a bunch of stuff. They had some rarities.
-Cattaraugus Cutlery wrench/knife combo. This was a personal holy grail of mine as I never saw one in the wild and always look for them. Condition is poor, with damages. I paid up for it but nowhere near what a nice example goes for on the web. I was actually walking past their final table taking a last look and there it was! They did drop the price for me as we had chatted quite long and become friendly by then.
- Butler Elliptical Wrench (ratchet) 11/16? dr. A strange design.
-Husky socket handle ratchet. Non-working wall hanger. For the price and scarcity, had to get it.
———————————————————————————————————————————
- corbin padlock
-Goodrich advertising screwdriver
-unknown chuck handle tool with interchangeable bits
-North Bros. Mini ratcheting screwdriver
-Keen Kutter gouge. One of those deals where you hold your breather due to the sellers’s Snap-On prices, then are pleasantly surprised it’s cheap!
-Witherby mortise chisel
-Stanley Sweetheart plane iron
-1/4” breaker bars: Thorsen, None Better,Trutest, uggo Craftsman
-Snap-On key ring driver
-unknown oddball 3/8”m to 1/2”m drive plug
-old kit wrenches: Fairmount double socket end, 2 Billings t handles
