Trust me, my snap on guy is happy with me always. Everything I buy from him is paid for in cash. Won't go into details, but I've spent **,*** with him this year....

I'd love to get just an orange box to. My dealer had the ratchets but no boxes. Good prices too. Picked up mine today :)

I think it was 136 for the F80 and TL72.

The comfort handles got jealous and moved away. Their time is numbered though. :)

Did you mod the flex head yourself? I couldn't help but notice the handles on the two 3/8" are different.

Yeap. I picked up a spare 5/16 core handle while I was on the truck. I didn't get it drilled perfectly straight but you can only really tell if you put it on a straight edge. and for $20 a handle I think I'll live with it

The new ones are smaller than the screwdriver handles and not sure if i'm really digging it. But since the 3/8s was $67 I'll be ok. The larger screwdriver handle does feel more natural though.

Keep in mind. This promo was ordered by dealers about 4 months ago. It was presented to dealers in a meeting on a power point slide. In a lot cases, we dont get hard copies of meeting presentations. If we do, its hard to keep up with a meeting packet from 4 months ago especially when we had the national franchisee conference in the time since this promo was ordered. When they were shipped to dealers, they just came in our regular stock orders with no paperwork to remind dealers that this was the way the promo was structured. It is a real struggle to keep up with some of the programs especially when product is not packaged together. Also, in my case, I did not get all of the product in one shipment. I got part of the ratchets at one time. Then some of the micro boxes. Then the rest of the ratchets and boxes.

Too make a long story short, give your dealer the benefit of the doubt when you ask him about this.

Thanks for explaining that. I specificly waited for my dealer to stop in (of course he missed last week 'cause his wife/gf was having his baby - like that's an excuse to miss work:lol:) and when he came in this week, I asked him and he knew nothing of this. The promo lead time falls right into the gap between him, our new dealer, and the old guy, so no wonder it got missed.........
I guee my only choice is order here / online.......

Not concerned about the mini tool box, allthough I'd add it to the collection if I got it. I'm wanting orange handles if there's anything left. I can paypal immediately. I'll PM also.

My guy only had two red 1/4" ratchets, six of the boxes, and thats it. Said he hadn't sold any of it but would let me know when the rest was in. He said he bought so much at the "meeting" that he couldn't remember the promo, and I'm not exactly sure he's willing to sell the sets for $150....

Dealers that are selling them for $150 are selling it too cheap. It should be around $180

I was $156 out the door with a 3/8s 1/4 and a 5/16 Hard handle for my FHLF. I didn't have a box though.

Looks like those dealers are subtracting the value of the box from the total sale. So in essence the box really isn't free, but valued around $35-$50.

I guess it'd be free if you paid full retail. Since a FH80 is around $100 and so is the hard handle one. Personally I'm ok w/o it. Granted it is cool.

Why can't Snap-On just treat ALL regions where their products are being sold equally? It would just end the ******** altogether.

They do, its the dealers that can not make it to the meetings that get the short stick, or the dealer that know its not worth the investment. It all comes down to economics, if the deal is worth while and the dealer thinks that the product is in demand they will get it if the price is right. However, not everyone gets so excited over hard handles like the guys on this forum...and myself do. Therefore there is no point in ordering a bunch of money worth of stock that will sit for awhile and not sell. That money can be better spent on more stock of a faster moving product that is also at a good deal. Also what is time is better spent on, time on their usual route, or time at a conference to get the deals, supply and demand...;)

I know my truck guys route is not big on hard handles. He still has a few sets of the racing logo screwdrivers left because the demand of his customers just isnt there. Therefore whats it worth to him to order a couple thousand dollars worth of ratchets that will sell slowly or maybe a couple thousand dollars worth of lets say sockets that will be gone in a short order keeping the majority of his customers happy for the good deal, and more money in his pocket.

I wish they would just restock the HH screwdrivers.

They make the instincts in HH, I just bought myself a set 2 months ago. Anyways since my dealer didn't start until late august, I'm guessing hes not going to have this deal..
