Finished milling 111 cabinets for the kitchen cabinet project I started 2 years ago. Now time for assembly. Sorry garage is a bit of a mess.

Today I put away a few more things and started building a safety rail for my rolling scaffold.

Put some good junk under a bench, replaced the lexan sheet on the blast cabinet. Played around with an 8.5- 10 bolt posi carrier and tried to find new clutch kit for it.

Worked on the loft floor - short two sheets and will not get them till tues.
Tomarrow visit the grandson who got a new heart valve a week ago and monday is Rose Bowl.

adjusted the clutch, drilled and safety wired the rear pulley bolts, and re installed the o2 sensors in the Harley.

yesterday me and my buddy repurposed his old pressure washer (the cart part) into a welding cart. he got a new hobart welder.

Started to clean up and organize since it's a mess, and then I got distracted and started building a model. Oh well.

got back from the annual polar ride on the bike and figured it was decent enough out to give it a wash.

going to be getting things organized and moving a few things out of the garage and into the house so i can start laying the garagedeck flooring when it gets here wenesday

got the honda rancher ready for the upcomming snow storm. replaced the battery, lubed the pivot points on the plow and made sure it will start.

Put a temporary finish on the loft and added some seating yesterday for my New Year's party:

I'm going to make an effort to free up some more space so that when the ping pong table is swung out for multiplayer games it isn't so crowded.

Theres about 8" here,more to the west. Its heavy and sticky, great for trails but doesnt plow for ****! 9& 10 are saying we should get 6+ more tomorrow.

Polished the headlights on my car with the 3M kit, looks great but not sure how long it will last. Started my new year's resolution of cleaning up my place and getting rid of junk. Lots of time spent for a very small dent.

oh and i went out in garage a few min ago to smoke a cigarette and ponder my current project (magnetic chalkboard paint on the wall) that ill finish tomorrow....

I took off the mower deck and put the snow plow on my gravely tractor to get ready for the first snow of the year. I went ahead and washed and waxed it while I was at it. I gotta take care of it, they do not make lawn tractors like that anymore.

Prepped and painted storage cabinet & small drawer cabinet.

One more step to getting all the stuff I've bought inplace and start using.

Changed oil in my truck and wifes van.. 60 degrees still here in Dallas, not bad for new years now its time for beer

Worked on the insulation of my garage. Had free bat from a building, needed to be cut down for my stud built building. Getting too warm in there with my wood stove. A GREAT January day in South Dakota. Y'all have a good day.

I filled my blower with oil/gas mix. Closed the gas can, picked up the blower and promptly poured half the tank of oil/gas down the front of my pants becasue I'd forgotten to put the cap back on the blower.

I'm gonna smell that stuff for days.

Bled the brakes on the 'B
Made a spanner rack from foam that fits in with the rest of my control foam
Wire wheeled all my hammers, then oiled them
Continued the resto of my FJEdwards folder
Threw some heat shrink onto the handles of my metal shears
Began cleaning and strip down of my large vise
Rebuilt the UJ's in the MGB propshaft
Listened to some awesome music via spotify

Started the '68 for the first time since september and drove it around the block. Cleaned out all the trash that acumulated from christmas and took the stuff to storage.

More insulation and siding, I'm at about 50% now. I and the bride can really tell the differance, in the garage and in the house/kitchen. Pretty much the 500 watt halogen work light was keeping the place very comfortable today.

Changed the oil in the family Jeeps..4 in total..put the trickle chargers on the bikes.Finished cutting the frames for my cedar kayak project.It's supposed to drop down to the teens tonight...off to Florida on Saturday!

Moved Christmas decorations from the house to the garage. Later on, I moved them from the garage to the shop. Before and after I watched football, repaired a motoduck and washed the windows on my truck. In other words, I accomplished very little.

Made a stencil for work. "ROAD SALT" I paint it on a jug for some salt (duh) to put on the engine.

Installed an automatic door closer on the man door to the garage.

Been meaning to do this for about 2 years now (ever since I bought a couple closers).

Works great - gotta wonder why I put it off for so long ! ;-0

Went out and got my Dewalt drill so I could mount a couple of hooks in the wifes closet. Checked the temp as it was in the teens here today, it was a nice 64 in the shop. Hope to get out there tomorrow to work on the plow for my John Deere.

Yesterday I started replacing disc brakes on a friend's 2005 Mustang. I haven't done this for a while and finally figured out that it needed a special tool. Off to HF this morning to buy the tool (I'll probably only use it a few times (I'm a weekend warrior)) but who knows? That made short work of the brake job.

Re-arranged the toolbox. Used the grate from a couple old (dead) halogen lights to make a pliers rack. Saved me a bunch of room.

Cleaned the garage up.

Worked on the door to the compressor room. Need another hour to finish the trim but gave it up for a beer. It's getting late.

Back to work tomorrow.
