Not a tool per se, but definitely related. Going back for the side cabinet as it's pretty much full already.

Spent about 20mins organizing my home toolbox a little, found my box of 'Extra/Duplicate' sockets that i forgot i had, thought i might find a few sizes in there to replace broken ones at work, managed to find 2 of what i was looking for but i also stumbled across a few other pieces ive been meaning to get for work. On top of that i found that i had a bunch of impact socket sets at home that i forgot about, snapped up the Metric set to take to work as i already have the SAE set there. Should add a nice little touch to my work tool box.

The guy that works next to me bought one of those last week. Their not bad for what they are. Once they release a green one ill gladly trade in my 561's and step up.

Jealous! When did you Snap-On rep get them in? I've been nagging mine ever since I heard about the 661.

No pics yet but I ordered the snap on krsc46 today! I am excited, and hopefully it will keep me from buying a new box for a couple years. It will add a bit more storage than my performax cart, but that cheap cart is very decent for the money. (Similar to the hf 4 drawer) The old cart will be for my tools at home.

They were actually marking down the clearance items as I was standing there. The Knipex were $18, but these were in the clearance bin with no packaging. They gave me 50%. Same deal with the T15s that were in packaging. $1.97 each and 50% off that price.

The ratchet was in the 3-piece set packaging and the 1/4 and 3/8 were missing. I was expecting 66% off of the $99, but instead got it for $20.

The T15s are showing $6 online.

The 1/2" ratchet is $36: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00944996000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

...and here's the kicker...the Knipex are $61.23 online.:eyecrazy:

There were some other decent deals, but they were on items I already had. No sense in buying them just because it's a deal. I'm not a hoarder.

How are you liking those Norseman Super magnums?

And how much did they cost you? if you don't mind me asking.
I'm looking for a high quality set, and the super magnums are really appealing.

I've been using the Norseman drill bits for several years and they are excellent quality.

Snap-on locking pliers, and a Blue Point swivel chuck. The chuck is real compact. Looking forward to trying it out.

Got some new-to-me wrenches today. The first is a Fairmount #635G (1-1/8"x1-1/4"), an Armstrong #34 (7/8"x1-1/16"), Armstrong #37 (1-1/16"x1-1/4"), Snap-On #S3436B (1-1/16"x1-1/8"). I also made an Allen key holder on my lunch break. I'll take some more time and do the next one up a little better, but for a 15 min. throw together it's not too bad. I was just so tied of having to empty and sort though that pouch they were in.

Is it just me or does that 5/8 short socket look thicker than all the other ones?

Hey! We use Mighty at the shop I'm at!

Those boots do clean up. Have you tried some brake cleaner on a rag?
