It was in the February flyer. I asked if he still had some sets from that deal and he had one left.
Works out to $11 a socket.

The ratchet is an old F723A from eBay, and the green ratcheting screwdriver is, of course, a SSDMR4B. I'm an apprentice bike tech, slowly gathering nice tools as I learn.

Yea I just missed out by one stop on the wobble plus set. My fault for procrastinating.

Picked this up today when I saw it posted in this thread a few pages back. Works better than my buddies $150 compressor.

Yeah from everything Blue-Point I have, this has got to be up in the top 3. Used it twice so far and both times loved it. A great idea for use on dual piston setups!

It's pretty bright for its small size!
My Mac guy said it has a lifetime warranty too!!

Nice pick up there canuckian! I like the orange pliers the best!

Thanks...those pliers are something else! He took a rubber band and wrapped around the handles for a bit of tension. Then he put a dollar coin in the jaws and handed them to me. He then handed me another pair of pliers and asked me to hold the high leverage pair by the sides so only the force of the rubber band was providing tension and then told me to try and pull the coin out with the other pliers....wouldn't budge! Tried it in reverse and the coin slipped right out of the regular pliers! I was sold! Lol

I pay in full every time as well. I don't work at one of his stops so he usually just calls or texts. He just gets a kick out of how excited I get when there's new tools and "specials" on the truck lol. He knows he's pretty much guaranteed a sale every time anyways so I figure that's motivation enough for him to keep in touch. That and...well...I'm just a super nice guy! :lol_hitti

Picked these nut drivers up from Canadian tire a few days ago. $6 a set, grabbed the metric set, figured i'd use those sizes the most, but i was soon regretting not grabbing the SAE set as well. Went back to pick up the SAE last night and they were all sold out. I guess everyone wanted in on that deal!

Oh well i figure they will be on sale again fairly soon and i'll snap them up.

While i was there last night i also notice a '1/2" impact gun accessory kit' It contained an impact swivel socket, 2 impact extensions and a 1/2" to 3/8" impact adapter. It was on sale for $10! A steal in my opinion considering i noticed that the impact swivel alone was priced at $22 and im sure the extensions and adapters won't have been cheap either.

I'll get pictures of the impact set tomorrow when im at work.

Man, I was just struggling with my cheap pliers and stuck brake pistons on a friend's bike--that Blue Point brake caliper tool would have saved me some trouble.

Must...resist!

dude I think you have an unlimited tool budget :p
But why green? LOL

LOL jeff, I thought the same thing.

After about 5 Molson's into last nite, I pondered Cunukian's awesome purchasing power these days and all I could think of is that he is going to buy the biggest toolbox Snap-On makes upon retirement, roll it down to the riverbank, and live in it like a small portable condo with his harem of ratcheting screwdrivers with daily gtg's with fishing buddies.

If that's not the plan, my continuing education courses I took at Harvard are not doing their due dilligence and pay back for good financial planning.

Unlimited budget? Nah. Forgiving wife? Yep! I do like your analogy of my retirement though. Instead of telling people that I live "in a van down by the river" I can say I live in the bottom drawer of a Mr Big toolbox down by the river. Has a much classier ring to it, don't ya think?? And good call on drinking Molson  but it should usually take at least 6 or 8 before one starts pondering life's mysteries. You must be a lightweight :lol_hitti
Oh...and Jeff...why green? Cause I already had an orange one :dunno: actually bought it because I needed 1/4 deep metric sockets anyways. May as well get some freebies while I'm at it!

I´ve helped my Snappy man with some small things on his truck today, and he gave me this goodness free of charge...

Not showing in the pic is a bag full of blowmold cases for Screwdrivers, wrenches, prybars, extensions etc...

The red case is a tread restoring kit that I picked up the other week, but he gave me my money back now...
