Received my tools today. Shipping was lightning fast and the communication was great. Thanks Ash!

I will definitely need to put another order in for some more items.

I finally got around to taking pics of the tools I bought from Ash. Ash was huge at putting all of this together for me and I can't thank him enough. However every time I see the guy he has something new to show me. I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO HAVE THEM!!! So this is the latest stuff, with more to come.

Both Gedore sets are 1/2" sets. This is extraordinary stuff. The ratchets work like butter. Most of you know about NWS by now. If you need specifics, I recommend you talk to Ash about it. He really has a passion and knowledge of these tools

Hi, I am posting the newest pliers that Ash has to offer from Germany. The company is called Orbis and this is their Evoline offering. The pliers and cutter are set at 25 degrees, keeping your hand at a more comfortable position. He has a few different offerings (pliers and cutters) not pictured in these photos, that have the 25 degree angle built into the tool. Thank you Ash.

I really wish NWS made extended needle nose pliers like these. These and a good pair of do-it-all wire strippers/crimpers/snips are on my NWS wish list and my pliers drawer could be 100% NWS.

.

The only German manufacturer that make the long reach needle nose is Orbis, there the same ones Hazet uses.

Thanks for the links Monte, I have all the EvoLine in stock and the Torqy and speedy as well. Working on a video on them all.

A video of the Torqy and Speedy would be good i think because they´re good products and (almost) unique.
ps: Do you can get "Will" pliers too ? They have some nice extra long spark plug and needle nose pliers, something NWS and Knipex don´t offer...

PS: the complete ORBIS catalog in english

I picked up some Orbis pliers from Ash yesterday.

I picked up a few other tools as well. I posted pics in the "Tools from the Old World" thread. Ash has a great selection of German tools and his customer service is extraordinary.

I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but they appear to be the same build quality as NWS. They are a slightly different design though. I'm sure they will be just fine for me.

my dad used my felo screwdrivers and told me that is what he wants for Christmas so maybe my wife will let me order them on Friday.

I received my third order from Ash a little while ago and I'm still impressed with the great service. This one had some special order NWS stuff on it. The communication was excellent and everything came in as ordered. Here are a few pics for everyone. The NWS stuff is a real great bang for the buck value and I have been recommending it to anyone who is looking to expand their collection.

I just got my NWS "chain nose radio pliers" from Ash. They look great but I won't see them again until December 25th as I had to turn them over to my wife who is giving them to me for Christmas.

Delivery was speedy!

Thanks, Ash!

Never really had a truly good pair of pliers so I decided to try some. I have livestock and use 12.5 ga high tensile wire, it has a tensile strength of 120,000 lbs, supposedly. It takes a good cutter to cut it and I never found pliers that would work, until now.

I ordered a Knipex 09-12-240 and a NWS 1092-62-225 CombiBolt. I'm telling you they both cut the wire like no other. I give the nod to the NWS ComiBolt because it has a spot to grip the tightener on the strainers I use, normally I carry a 3/4 wrench. This plier replaces three other tools, now if it would also have a crimper for the splices I would have it made.

In the photo is also a pair of Channellocks that are nearly ruined cutting this wire. They're not hard enough.

Thanks to Ash for the help in selecting the pliers.

I'd think those long channellock end cutters would be more suited for soft/medium wire and for pulling nails. Sounds to me like you found what you need.

I had no sooner placed an order when I received a tracking number. The FeloTorx screwdrivers arrived the same day that I received a follow-up e-mail from Ash. This is outstanding customer service and I plan on buying from Ash again.

Ordered 3 pairs of NWS Chain Nose Radio Pliers from Ash during the sale a few weeks back. Got the shipment very quickly. One pair was left out and Ash called me within minutes of getting my email and had them out quickly and sent me a tracking number. He also went WAY overboard in adding a tool for me for the error. Not necessary but greatly appreciated.

I'll definitely be back when I need something in the future.

Thanks Ash!

I too can report that my order has arrived, without hassles from the hated Customs people, safely in Ontario.

So, for my fellow Canadians, buy with confidence!

*** If you are ordering anything to Canada, be sure to have Ash send it USPS. Under no circumstances should you have those incompetent, criminal bastards at UPS involved; they WILL hold your package hostage. You have been warned...

Just placed my first order with German hand tools. I got the 6 piece Felo ergonomic screw drivers with the free 3 piece torx and I got the 3 piece square drive. These are all Christmas presents for my dad.

I made my first order and there was a small mix up. Ashkon's response to the mix up was so good that quite frankly it's ridiculous lol.

Ash was awesome with an after hours call and quickly shipped my order the very next morning. He had no problem answering all of my questions and concerns with the NWS products. The goodies were a huge plus!!

Thank You,
Jonathan

I am looking at the NWS pistol grip pliers. The Red handle and yellow handle. What is the difference between them? Is it just the finish?

This video will explain the difference. Both those items are on back order from the factory. I have the 1096-69-200 arriving mid Jan and the 1096-49-200 will ship from Germany mid Jan.
