Before it said MSN Deal, now it says Google Deal. The MSN deal seemed to include transportation, but the Google deal charges $5.95. I ordered when it said MSN, but no email conformation.

For those of you worried about "the company", it has been around as long as I can remember. The smell is legendary, but I don't know how to describe it - other than pleasant, as far as oils go. I grew up with it as a gun cleaner, here's a link to Midway just to soothe away some of the worries about ordering from them. They are a real company, with a terrible web site, lol!

Oh yeah, I ordered some, my business is "Garage".

Don't put it in your harbor freight air line lubricator for your air tools, it will ruin the gasket, at least it did mine about 5 years ago. I do put a drop or two (I have the liquid in a 4 oz can) in the air tools.

I still buy it by the gallon much cheaper and i put it in my own spray bottle. I hate how quickly it looses its aerosol.

What do you pay for a gallon? They have it for $52 and shipping.

So what's the deal, is shipping now NOT part of the "MSN Offer"? Was going to purchase earlier this eve and noticed the $5.95 shipping charge on the order page. Was shipping free earlier in the day when the "MSN Offer" first started?

try calling and see whats going on, clearly states shipping is included. A bit odd. Alternately order online and add a note asking them to cancel if freight isn't free. Although I will say even with shipping its still only .69 cents an ounce. Not even their bulk offerings come close to that.

The recipe for this is online if you want to make a bunch. Someone at a lab broke it down and published the contents....

I finally tried it last year and was surprised to see that I think it beats PB Blaster in my applications. I have had a few tough spots, very badly corroded bolts and it definitely worked very well. Love PB but when I need a penetrant this beats it all.

I used as my "heavy duty" spray and use other stuff for normal stuff. Problem is I always find myself grabbing the kroil. I think when my cans spit, I'm buying a gallon jug and using a sureshot. It actaully works out being close to cheap that way.

Why a Sureshot for dispensing the gallon, rather than a plain spray bottle?

Turns out that this is an old deal that did not include shipping and at an old price. They just had a price increase. Now $14.50 + $5.95 for shipping and handling. I've used it for years and nothing like it. It's still worth it.

I placed my order the other day... but still haven't received a confirmation email  I hope they didn't cancel it because of the shipping rate change.

I just got off of the phone with customer service. There are no email confirmation notices sent for online orders. The only thing they send is a shipping notification if an email address was provided. I placed my order on Saturday and the rep said that I should see a shipping email on Wednesday

Your post motivated me to check my e-mail and I got one too. It says "picked up" so I guess it worked. The CC charge hasn't hit though. :rocker:

My cc has not been charged yet either. I am sure it will catch up.
At least we got the shipping notification.
The deal is over. Now it is $14.95 for two cans plus $5.95 shipping

THanks for the link, I ordered 2 cans. When I don't have any Kroil I used Liquid Wrench or PB Blaster. Kroil has long been used by Caterpillar which is where I first used it a long time ago. Fifteen years ago I bought an antigue John Deere G tractor to restore. The G had been setting out in the open many years and the engine was stuck. I ordered a gallon of Kroil and removed the spark plugs. I poured Kroil in the RH cylinder and it filled up quickly. The remaining Kroil went in the LH cylinder which never did fill up. I let the G set over the winter.

Four months later I pulled the head off and found the RH exhaust valve open which allowed rain water into the cylinder for who knows how many years. The LH cylinder was clean. I cleaned the grundge out of the RH cylinder, and just for grins I inserted a 24" pry bar between the starter nose cone and the flywheel ring gear. With a little effort applied to the pry bar I was pleasantly surprized to feel the flywheel start to turn. That experience made me a firm believer in Kano Labs' Kroil.

I came across this offer friday afternoon and was going to place an order when the $12 + transportaition included was being offered but noticed the order page had a shipping fee, so I held off and tried to call both that friday late afternoon and saturday morning. Missed thier regular business hours and for some reason thier phone system was not allowing me to leave a message. I've been working everyday since, called them up today to explain things and see if they would still honor the original offer. Was told the original offer with shipping included was an advertising error and it was too late for me to take advantage. Lady said the current $14.50 plus $5.95 S/H is a really good deal and she left it at that.

How offten does Kanolabs have offers like this?

Someone posted a link in the Hot Deals section to a Stacey David offer of $12 shipped for two cans. I ordered some on my lunch break.

Funny how I called Kanolabs less than an hour ago asking about the $12 MSN offer from back when this thread was first started and was told it's no longer being offered, just current $14.50 plus $5.95 S/H. Now to find out they are currently offering a $12 with S/H included deal just under a different promo code and she never mentioned it. Is it just me that finds this kind of irritating???? I know they are in no way obligated to offer or honor a past promo, but I would think that a decent business wanting to expand thier customer base would have at least mentioned they currently have a similar promo being offered and ask if I would like to take advantage of that one!

I checked out the StaceyDavid link and it was mentioned that when Kanolabs was called about the offer earlier today they where told there is no free shipping offers even though the Stacey David promo ad clearly states "Delivered to your door-Transportation included". :dunno:
