I needed a new 3/4 wrench so I bought a new set at the outlet store. Damn
$22 out the door. Industrial line. If I had facial hair I could shave off these babies.
They're too pretty to engrave them so I used the chemical etcher

Mac guy had a decent deal 10-19 deep and shallow. With an air ratchet for 220
image-18.jpg

i have had that socket set for damn near 5 years, i have lost more sockets than i have broken.they are good, though i think the the deeps are extra deep or something. i got a deep socket set from snap on wit a set of swivels, and snappys deep sockets seem shorter than macs or are macs extra deep?

Passed by Sears on the way home and found these deals at 90% off. 3 tool sets and a set of ratcheting box/open wrenches with one missing.

I have a set of 3/8ths semi deep snap on impacts. They are maybe an 8th of an inch bigger then these shallow sockets. The deeps seem very deep. I already lost the 10mm in the shop somewhere lol

Yeah ida filled up two carts with those deals.

Unless those receipts were photoshopped. :willy_nil
Lol. They're legit. Only 5 were in the Clearance section. Two were 50% off so I didn't grab those. These are sets that were returned and Sears didn't want to bother with making sure all was not missing. I opened one up last night when I got home and found the 3/8" ratchet missing. Otherwise, everything else was intact. Today, I'll do the other two sets. The 1/2" ratchet alone is worth more than what I paid. Oh, and BTW, they're US-made.

Wright 3430. (compared next to 1/4 gearwrench 120xp)

There's a little more play in the head than I'd like, but that's just nitpicking.

I wish my store would have any like that. I thought I got a good deal when I got a 154 piece set for $70 at a Kmart Closing

How do you like the 120xp? smooth? any dislikes?

Very smooth. It's a great ratchet. For the price you can't beat it. I got the entire 120xp set for $83 shipped from tooldiscounter. Super thin head and great length. Haven't given it a ton of use yet but from what I can tell it's very smooth and sturdy.

New? No, but new to me! Scored this 10" Ridgid Model TS 2424 1 Table Saw on Craigslist yesterday. My old cheap Craftsman 10" saw melted down recently when a short developed causing the brush holders to melt the plastic they were in. Sparks smoke and total destruction ensued! New motor was $169! I only paid $99.00 for the saw many years ago.

So I started looking for an upgrade and this is it. Compared to the old direct drive Craftsman, this thing is almost silent. The guy that sold it too me owns a custom wood working shop and had just upgraded to a large SawStop saw.

$200 was all I paid and it's twice the quality of anything you can buy new for that. I am very pleased with it. He even included a bunch of handmade inserts and the two original OEM versions. Oh he had the manual and blade wrench for it too!

Set of 4 snap on extensions from ebay, and a pair of klein scissors I found in a box of junk I got for a dollar at an auction.

24oz Ball Peen Deadblow, ebay purchase, really need to pick up some simple green and get those black marks off of it.

Arriving soon... Wera and Knipex!! can't wait to try out some good screwdrivers.

Backordered since February and finally came in yesterday...

Amazingly smooth and powerful. The rear exhaust is awesome too.

I felt like I had a million uses for that, since I've had it I only used it twice.mine wasnt on back order though.

this is a little different for me. Im not into carpentry or wood working but my Dad was just diagnosed with a rare cancer and they arn't giving him to long. he 47 and always wanted to build furniture when he retired and since that's not going to be possible I'm trying to do my best to make some of his dreams in life come true. This will probably be the most sentimental tool I'll ever own and hope to create some great items and memories with it

Well done, buddy. Sounds like you have a solid relationship with your pops. I have the same saw and love it!
