Mohawk Dave--- OMFG!!!!1!!!! as the cool kids say ;-)

You've got a year or two worth of major suckage in one weekend! I don't know where to start... the pipe threaded is worth more than you paid for EVERYTHING all weekend.

I've never seen a pipe wrench like the green on with the sliding head.

The rockwell sander sells in my area for $200+ in that condition and $300 running.

<--edit--> knock a $100 off, I didn't notice that it doesn't have the disk sander too.

The cross slide table, and other stuff is jaw dropping amazing.

Awesome scores! Way to raise the bar!

zuk

<<--edit-->>

Not to mention the HoleHog! or the c clamps, or ... or.. or....

yeah, I wanted to mention a few things too but kept seeing more, and more, and more...

but one thing zuk123, that looks like it was his season so far, according to the dates he put, he just posted all at one time.

Ah, I missed that. The dates that caught my eye were all recent.

Still, an AWESOME season.

I had a bunch of estate sales this weekend, but they didn't have much for me. My favorite seller gave me a good price on a box of stuff. Maybe I'll get the pix (and the vise pix from the last few weeks) up later today.

Which brings up a point-- thanks to everyone who DOES get their scores documented and posted. I love seeing them, and it helps to know what stuff is worth. It takes some time, and I'm glad you all are sharing.

good hunting!

Hey guys, Thanks for all the comments!

I just do a new file every time I buy something. A quick Word Doc with date/name/place/phone #/of seller and description of items.

The only thing I didn't focus on adding was the tool boxes I've picked up this year, but I think you've all seen those in other threads.

Nine4. that's not a Press, it's a grinder pedestal.

Hot Damn Dave, you are on a Huge roll!

That Huot box is really cool I'd love to fins something like that for maybe C-Clamp storage. On the subject of Clamps you can get the top pad for the screw at Mcmaster or one of those places...

The rock well Belt sander should clean up great!

and I have a similar (or the same) Walker jack Mine needs rebuilt after I loaned it to a guy a while back....

And that tiny rake near the top of the avalanche of pics is not a "kids rake" those are great for getting into nooks and crannies and between plants. I have one too, and use it a LOT. (As well as an even smaller one from a "toy" set of gardening tools from when my kids were small that is used nearly as much for the smaller nooks...)

Hey nine,

It's an old REX snap set...for doing snaps on your blue jeans and what not. Got it for a quarter, put it on ebay, here is my link...http://www.ebay.com/itm/251265139394?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1559.l2649

BTW: this is how all my tools are bought. Get this is or that in a tool lot that I don't need and sell it off, and it usually pays for most or all of tool lot kept. That's the idea any way. lol

Oops, I didn't see the press in the corner of the pic...

Thanks Dave, I am looking for a Handy JR Button Press guys, be on the look out;).

I would love to find a complete Delta sander like that. The last one I found was missing the top roller and those go for $4-600 on ebay alone...I ended up parting the rest out for about that much... I hated to part it out but at least I know I put a few machines back to work at the expense of my one broken one.

My small load from yesterday. I had a friend come over from the valley to PU some stuff I had for him, and we both went. He picked up a few things, but his big haul was from my house :D.

First stop was an unscheduled stop that I had been to before a week or two ago. I got more stuff, but My Buddy got a set of wood lathe knives, for $3! (Sorry No Pics) It was cool as one of the things he picked up from me was a small Import Wood lathe I'd gotten free off Freecycle for him. (He held them up and asked me ("do I need these?" :lol_hitti )

My stuff: $2.25 for all, Cardboard tube has a floating Thermometer, 4" Clamp, Drill bit for a bit brace, a Proto keyway chisel, nice old bevel gauge, an the Brass Widget will go into a Whatzit" thread

attachment.php

Next stop got me a Huot Drill index for Number Drills (Empty) - $2

attachment.php

College FM first stop I picked up the carving set (No name, but I liked it) and a Tape Strobe for Reel to Reel tape machines - $20

attachment.php

Another vendor had a TON of old tools and other stuff. I picked up these P.S & W. (PEXTO, aka Peck Stow, and Wilcox) Forming Tong tool, anyone know what they are for? a SO Socket, a lawsuit Plumb, and an old (I believe Pre WWII) .30 cal Ammo can. My third I think and second best for condition. I had a guy try desperately to trade or buy it off me near the end of the FM.

Hot Damn Dave, you are on a Huge roll! Thanks Outlaw! Like Jack Vines said: To all those who say there are no bargains in their areas. The answer is always "early and often." Around here, sales are now starting on Wednesday and Thursday. Hell for those who are working. Craigslist morning, noon and night, cash in hand and the truck with GPS pointed down the drive.

It's out there, but you've got to work at it like you want it worse than anyone else.

That Huot box is really cool I'd love to fins something like that for maybe C-Clamp storage. On the subject of Clamps you can get the top pad for the screw at Mcmaster or one of those places... That Huot was really cool, but I passed it along to another tool junkie that just had to have it and restore it. I have too many irons in the fire right now.He actually gave me 80 bucks for it, more than willingly. So that payed for that lot plus more. As for the c-clamp pads..THANKS! I have many clamps that are missing that piece, I'll have to put in a pretty good size order with MMC one day.

The rock well Belt sander should clean up great! Yes, I'm excited for that one!

and I have a similar (or the same) Walker jack Mine needs rebuilt after I loaned it to a guy a while back.... Yes, once my sheds are finished, I'll have to get some parts from Hiball!

And that tiny rake near the top of the avalanche of pics is not a "kids rake" those are great for getting into nooks and crannies and between plants. I have one too, and use it a LOT. (As well as an even smaller one from a "toy" set of gardening tools from when my kids were small that is used nearly as much for the smaller nooks...) Yes sir. I saw that and got that for my GF. She has started a flower garden and a veg garden...so I know it was needed. USA made too!

10 char......

Hey guys..can someone show/tell me how to post the big pics for you without using IMGUR/Photobucket like I used to. I thought I saw something on GJ once that when you load them, you paste something into your text....(like Outlaws photos above)

Want to make it easier for all to see/read. Thanks!

You can go under your profile on here and upload the pics to your album. Then when you want to include a pic in your message copy and past the bulletin board code into the message. Awesome scores by the way. YOU ****!!!

I use an ftp program on my phone to upload 800x600 pics to a file on my web space, then link to it. one step procedure after setup.
