Ended up walking out of Home Depot with the new MAG77LT for $120 tax in (had $50 worth of store credit). It is glorious. While not made in the USA, everything else is an improvement over the regular 77's IMO, weight being the most important one. Fear not, this is by no means a lightweight, but that 4 pounds makes a HUGE difference.I really, really love the base, and the grip feels great. Worthy of the 77 name. On the flipside, I am going to pick up a 8-1/4" model 825 for $35 later tomorrow. Now all I'm missing is the Big Foot kit and a Prazi :D.

8-piece SAE Northern tool stubby wrenches - glad they came in a roll, the website didn't say it came in one. Very pleased with how they look.

Will these fit over a pair of glasses?

I have these rebranded as snap on, that was my intention to use them over glasses.but they fog up quick, and put pressure on my glasses and push them up I also had to trim the seal on the edges to fit my frames in there so when I pull them off they take my glasses off my face.but I got a big ol head so it might be different for you, I still like them more than any safety glasses I've ever used.

I needed a bearing separator kit for a job on a rear axle. So, I went to my local auto parts store and ordered one of their medium duty brand. It was on sale too.
The brand name sounded very Italian or something like that. As I'm being educated to buy more stuff build closer to my country (thanks GJ!), it felt good.
I was disappointed to see that it's just regular made in taiwan tool...:wtf:

Is the 125mm popular by you? I never sell them.

I love kronenflex abrasives though.

Yes, the 125mm is most common for medium and small jobs. The grinder is light but also powerfull, easy to work with.

Kronenflex abrasives are really good for the price  Not top notch quality, but still very good.

Fluke79III.jpg

got a wicked deal on this fluke 79 series III in excellent condition, paid $75 plus shipping. this little guy is going in my electrical bag and my old 77 will get cycled out to garage duty. no need to shell out on an 8x series, this little guy will do it all, just with a little less precision. excited!!

A very ****** pano, can post a thread on my shop with detailed pics if you like (or I am allowed)

please do! i'm no moderator or anything but i don't think anyone would have a problem with a thread in general or garage pics sub-forums. i'd love to get a peek at a south african hardware store. take lots of close-ups of inventory!

Nice ratchets Silverone. imho those are some of the finest ratchets ever made and I prefer the Easco's over the Cman ones because they have superior handles, at least to me. Those look new!
