I did a bronze case of an original collar from a Chas. Parker 272 vise. I'm selling extras to fortify my vise budget. If interested, please see the post with more images and details in the Classifieds.

have a 272 with a makeshift collar, sure could use one of your castings - can't pm or reply to classified as a newcomer - any chance I can get your contact info so that I might restore my parker to full glory?

regards, gerry

received one of byron's own cast parker collars yesterday and just put it on my 272 right outta the box, looks like it grew there

if any member recognizes the paint on the vise maybe you sold it to me - was looking for a swivel jaw for a particular job that required a ton of fixturing different angled pieces and on short notice all I could find was this nicely reconditioned one and turned it into a worker - it was the perfect tool for the job - replaced the makeshift collar with byron's

Any chance you still have a collar available? I would like to purchase one if they are available for my Parker vise.
I tried PM but as a new member this option doesn't seem to work

I've had a couple inquiries about these collars. I have 5 others that are not as finished as the first batch so they need finish work. The one in the detail is sold. Send me a PM if you'd like one. So far, besides the 272, other models that reportedly fit are 39x, 23x, and 107. I sold the more finished batch for $15 each; I'll take $10 for one of these in their less finished state.

fnpoovey -- Sorry for the delayed response.

Here's what I have. As you can see, they are semi-finished so you'd have to do some additional work -- grinding/polishing -- to clean them up. The lettering is not perfect.

Please PM me if you are interested. $15 each which includes the postage.

A quick note to this thread. I have a Parker 88 that's a rescue vise, needed a lot of tlc to get looking good again. It's working now but is mostly for show.

One problem was the collar on it was a hacked up piece of bronze, the original being long gone. I contacted btrnuthatch and he couldn't have been more helpful as we went back and forth on sizing etc. He wanted to be sure I got the collar to fit.

And did it ever. I received mine in the mail today and it fits like a glove. Not sure yet whether I'll paint it to match the rest of the vise or leave as-is.

Best $15 I've spent in a while! Highly recommend the seller if you're in need.

I know it was an old post, but are you still making the Chas Parker Vise Collars?
I picked up a vise without a collar.

It’s clear I’m not paying close attention. My apologies for not responding to the earlier questions. I happened to notice this post ... The only one I have left is on the 974 1/2 that I’m going to sell. I guess I should get off my sorry *** and post it in the classifieds

I'm interested in obtaining one of those clips if by change you still have any. I have a Parker 272 that is missing it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
