I have the two lock-down handles for a Desmond Simplex C43, I went with a different lock-down system for the resto, so I don't need these. You pay me for the shipping, you can have these for free.

I actually found some lock down handles for my Wilton 3" at Carr Lane.

Now I'm looking for the main screw for a Wilton 5" bullet. If anyone has one please me know.

Thanks...

It depends on what your plan is for the vise. I had been wanting a vise with soft jaws for auto parts; happened to score a vise with no jaws. So I bought a brass stick at McMaster and cut it to the width and drilled mounting holes. It has been serving me well...

Have a pair of swivel lock-down handles for a Wilton C-2 heavy vise. They have a little rust, but work fine. $10 shipped for the pair. My swivel base was cracked apart, it got tossed and now the locks are left overs.

If you cannot find the lock-down handles, Carr-Lane has something that will work. They call them bar handle nuts.

http://carrlane.com

"FEATURES: Extension nut with a sliding bar handle for excellent leverage. The bar can be moved to any position for convenient tightening, and is held in place by light spring force. Available in steel or stainless steel. Made in USA."

Hello All,

I am in the process of restoring an otherwise very nice Prentiss Bulldog 93, BUT the nut is cracked. I took it completely apart, and everything else seems to be fine. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a nut for a Prentiss 93? Thanks.

I scored, what I think is a Wilton C1 or maybe the predecessor to the C1. I does NOT have C1 anywhere on it but it DOES have 101169 stamped into the static jaw.

I NEED the swivel base jaws. The teeth are well worn from years of misuse.

Just picked up a Reed 203 1/2 R, missing the whole swivel base assembly. Longshot I know, anybody have these parts before I drill another hole and convert it to a non swivel?
TIA, Jim.

Looking for swivel base for old Reed vise. In another thread, a poster said it was a model 32. 3 1/2" jaws. Any help would be appreciated.

That looks like one of those that just have one big thread and a giant wingnut. I'm sure you could find a piece of allthread that would fit, and maybe a big washer & nut?

It doesn't use a regular swivel base because there are no side-holes and the threaded hole isn't flush.

Re: wilton and parker vise parts.

below is 4 parts, but I NEED LEAD SCREW, NUT & swivel base 4 PARKER 25x. thanks 4 looking.

note 1/15/14 that leadscrew nut has been sold.

1973 wilton 4", Broken main body/static jaw, 3 places, 1. under replaceable jaw & 2 chips near rear cap. Works like it is. I would be interested in main body to make this right, rather have lead screw, nut & swivel base 4 parker 25x.

Below, unknown lead screw below came with parker 25x no nut and ain't right.

Parts below r 4 parker 434 1/2, won't work 4 my parker 25. 4 1/2" wide jaws, good shape.
thanks 4 looking.

I'm looking for a swivel lock for a 6" Wilton mechanics vise.

I have a smaller Wilton swivel lock to trade or sell if anyone needs it.

Anybody have a main vise nut for a Craftsman 506-51811 vise.
Its a mid sixties, 42 pound, Columbian USA made, 5" jaw with 7/8"-4 TPI screw.
Probably any nut from Columbian (D45) or Craftsman vises with that thread size would work or could be modified to work. The original part has D45-4B in the casting, which appears to have been a Columbian number.
Will purchase and pay shipping. Can even send a prepaid mailer so you just pop it in your outgoing mail.

I picked up a Parker 975 that needs a main nut and wrench for swivel lock, and I'd like a new set of jaws. I thought I saw a post that said those wrenches go for a pretty penny.

I NO LONGER NEED THIS.

I also have a Reed 204 that I am looking for the round cylinder with set screw that holds the main nut in place. I am using a rolled steel shear pin, but that leaves a lot of slop. Any ideas on a suitable substitute would be appreciated as well.

Have these parts to offer in one lot - pair of vise hold-downs (top and bottom) and the main swivel base bolt, off of a Reed 406. One of the vise hold-downs is missing the handle, the other one is slightly bent.

Trade for ???? I like certain old hand tools.

You might try "The VISES of Garage Journal" thread (link below) and see if KMScott makes replacement jaws for your Parker. He's a GJ member and in my experience, makes beautiful replacements. Have a set of his Wilton 9450 jaws and am very happy with them.

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44782

http://wiltonviseparts.net/ << I think that this is KMScott's website. Don't be fooled by the name -- he does jaws for brands other than Wiltons.

I have a base from a blue home depot import swivel head Irwin, if anyone can use it.

Also the sliding jaw, acme screw/handle, cast nut from a 4 inch HF grey vise if anyone wants that too. Pictures on request, because I am guessing no one is going to want this stuff.
