Yeah I saw the teathered version. I don't need teathering. MSC has the two stubby screwdrivers listed and a couple of square tipped screwdrivers. Maybe Proto is giving MAC some lead time with their new screwdrivers before releasing their version. I like the looks of the new screwdrivers though and although I don't need any screwdrivers, I want that set.:dunno:

I think the part numbers I listed to are the same. Take a look.

Guy at shop asked if I wanted to buy some tools because he needed gas money. I offered to float him some cash but he said he rather sell me something. Pulled out this set and asked if I wanted them. I offered $50 and he said ok

Bought me one the other day (albeit one without the battery pack on the back). Very useful--something you won't want to be without once you start using it

headlamp, looks dorky but functional:

I bought 2 of the HL5s when HD had them on sale last summer (slightly different beam shape and 175 lumens). They are excellent quality, and kick *** when crawling around under tractor-trailers. Still only on the first one, and it hasn't let me down once. Especially a big improvement over hooking my Streamlight to the bill of my hat when in cramped spaces.

I've got couple of those, but I've found lighted safety work better for me.

Got an email from a vender about a 30% off sale had these clamps in mind for a while, paid for 3 got the forth one free. They are going to be useful, ground some C clamps that would slide into the keyways of the table. Worked ok but limited, these with the round pin allows the clamp to swivel 360 a big improvement.

Ordered Monday revived them Tuesday, not delivered by a drone.

Finally broke into the Milwaukee line. Picked up the M12 Screwdriver/impact driver combo at Home depot for $99. next will be the 3/8 fuel impact. I also picked up some some nutsetters ($4.99ea) from harbor freight and a Keter work table ($49) from walmart. The worktable is pretty awesome.

Christmas present to my self. Eastwood pro grade hammer and dolly set. There's a lacquer type finish on the bare metal surfaces that I'll take a roloc disk to and clean off, but I'm very happy with the fit and finish of these. Anybody else have em?

One pic shows some new ratchets from Sears to include the Craftsman fine tooth 1/4" drive and the Gearwrench rotoheads (1/4 and 3/8). I also got some Kobalt hex sockets on sale from Lowes. The other picture is some new to me stuff from Ebay including a Fairmont body hammer and some Mac 3/4" drive goodies.

Eastwood sent a few of these to review a while back. The dollys are nice, the hammers, OK. Real pro's don't like rubber handles due to loss of tactile feel and absorption of force. Waffle faces are way sharp/deep so be careful only to use where you will likely use filler as marks left would take a lot to remove. Overall a decent set for part-time wackers!

I added to my Channelock collection and went to a craft show with the wife. A German gentleman who's hobby is woodworking. I bought this screwdriver he made with an Oak handle and two Phillips and two blade tips. This thing has some weight to it, I love it, and it was only $15 bucks.:rocker:
