No, you don't have to put your name on the package but a note is nice. Last year was my first year and i didn't write a note for my package so my SS didn't know who I was on the forum. I felt bad after I learned many people put notes with their gifts. This year, I included a note but no name on the outside of my package. Just a return address in case the post office made an error on delivery.
