Here it is under the tree. Can't get it to make any noise and feels squishy and soft. Maybe a new bath robe or fuzzy bunny slippers. :D

My gift arrived this morning, so thank you Trackwelder. The box feels heavy, but the contents aren't moving around so I have no idea what it might be.

Great I was hoping it would be delivered in time.

Also as a reminder if anyone cannot send out a gift to their recipient, let someone know. There are people willing to help out if needed.

Ah, the inefficient post office...When I went in to mail my package over a week ago, their computer, and their person said it would be delivered the 21st....Then, I checked the tracking on the 21st to confirm, and it said the new delivery date was the 23rd...No prob, I thought. I just checked it to make sure it was delivered, and, go figure, they changed it yet again to say the 24th. Had they just been honest about delays, I would have sent it another way or another carrier. Thanks, USPS!

Im more excited for GJ secret santa than my own family gifts!

Hell, I'm declaring Marshall Law in the family and opening gifts Christmas Eve:lol_hitti.

No, I'm actually working on Christmas this year, so my wife and I are doing it tomorrow night:sad:. Still get to see my son open gifts on Christmas before I head into work.

My outgoing has been received and a pic posted, still waiting om my incoming. Of course the postal delivery hasn't been here yet today, so I'm trying not to get too impatient.

Well if someone is wondering I haven't seen one yet. But I am holed up in my bedroom from a broken leg. So I haven't made it outside or to the mailbox in a few days

I wasn't too worried, at least not until after New Years! Thanks for the update , now I can not complain. I appreciate it.

I spent my coldest Christmas in Scwabach in '72 in the Army.

Checked the mail today and nothing yet here.

Tracking info for mine has not been updated since the day after I dropped it off which is 12/11. It is going overseas though...
Same here with the one I sent 12/9.
Must be typical?
When I checked the mail I also asked about the length of time for mine to go overseas. "15-20 business days" is what I was told to the country it is going to. Glad I sent it out to be what I thought early (Dec 9th) or it wouldn't have been there till February! :lol_hitti

Tracking still hasn't updated anything past the location I dropped it off though...

Edit: Using online to calculate time and cost only says 6-10 business days. Hmm...

Yeah, I'm with you 100%.

Anyone who shipped from overseas as well as to overseas needs to realize that this time of year ***** to ship within the country let alone outside of it. Between the timeline that we were introduced to our SS and RCman's usps given timeline receiving/sending an international package would be a gift within a gift.

Patience is a virtue. If late January comes and you still don't have the gift start building your case. The GJ members will be the judge and jury ready to award punitive damages along with the ousting of the 2013 Grinch(s). I truly hope we have none.

USPS says my "sent" has been delivered, but the recipient hasn't been active here since the 15th, hopefully it made it!

So this thread confirms that the GJ adults are nothing but kids in larger containers. Think of it: 'I'm stoked'; 'can't wait' etc are all things I said to my folks while sitting on the stairs trying to get a peek at the tree. This while my uncle calmly woke up, dressed, shaved and then decided we could start!

LOL - Good old Uncle Ted. I have many of his tools, and a bit of his sense of humor as I realise he made us wait to tease us.

Best wishes to one and all on Christmas eve. Now - gotta run and buy Mrs Outlander a new laptop. She never asks for anything and a bathrobe won't cut it for her this year!

Just one more shake of Secret Santa box............ whatever can it be? <shouting> Mrs Outlander - please can I open just one?!?! </shouting off>
