My Secret Santa hales from the other side of the world in Balmy, Secunda, South Africa. From a brief search earlier this week, I guessed Krokodil. He is in SA and was shipping to the states. Francois also sent me a PM last night to clarify, as he didn't include a note.

I got a set of Hazet alloy impact sockets, a bag of blue zip ties, and 2 foam cylinders. The foam may have been packaging, but my daughters (3 and 5) love them.

Brent from Utah was my SS and he knocked it out of the park! Two great USA made presents, an Atlas slag hammer ( he has obviously seen my poor welding skills! ) and a Nicholson file card to use with my stash of files.

Thanks Brent these are awesome! I hope you and yours have a great Christmas!

I knew from the ORM-D sticker and the oh-so-distinct rattle of .22LR in a plastic box, I had scored.

Homoudont nailed it, thank you and Merry Christmas!

1 Box 5.56x45
2 Boxes .223
3 Boxes .22LR

And a Williams B-52 wrench which is great on several levels.

I saved my secret Santa gift last as well and got some pez dispensers with candy, 5pc Craftsman lathe chisels and a awesome Wilton pivot vise. The vise is in great shape and will come in handy alot. The same with the lathe chisels which will match my Craftsman wood lathe which I've been needing a good set of lathe chisels for a while.

You're welcome! I was thinking the BB could also hang from the mirror when you finish the Mustang, sort of a high (low?) class alternative to fuzzy dice! :spit:

Since you are a Ford guy, maybe the badge can adorn a tool box? :dunno:

in any case, Merry Christmas, and enjoy! :3gears:

(waiting for everyone else to wake up before opening mine!)

Merry Christmas to my Secret Santa 930 Dreamer

I received a Proto 5449 ratchet, and a 5" and 10" extensions. I really appreciate the thoughtful gifts, you must have snooped in my toolbox! Also i was having "Proto withdrawal syndrome". They will get well used here on the farm. Thank you

I just opened my gift and it is fantastic. Kobalt bottle opener which will go nicely with my craftsman and a set of Snap On tumbler glasses. I don't know who my SS is though since their username was not included. Thanks to whomever you are.

Thank you, Secret Santa Woodrail. It is an awesome calendar/screwdriver rack. The calendar is a 1947 illustrated by Alberto Vargas. 1947 and 2014 have matching calendars. In addition, it also came with 5 Wiha screwdrivers. The diamond plate uses for the rack is from an Airstream factory.

It is a great, custom made gift. It will be above my computer in my garage in short fashion. Thanks, Woodrail!!

Toomanytoyzz, thank you! This is one of the coolest gifts I've ever received, plus it just may be the coolest gift on garagejournal! The best part is that you put the work in to restore it, which is way cooler than any store bought item. I also needed a vise pretty badly! Not to mention a USA Colombian! I will put it to good use, I'm always out in the garage tinkering on something. The light is cool as well, ii think it will be great above a grinder or above my toolbox work surface. The tools will go in my toolbox and get used as well, but don't worry they won't be abused, license plate is awesome, going up on my garage wall along with th Mercedes emblem. Snacking on the m&ms right now. Thank you once again my good sir, and merry Christmas!

I got all my secret santa stuff in from Oxjaw. I received

SK 45172 3/8 thumb drive
6-1 Made in the USA screwdriver
and a SK baseball cap

I really like the stuff I got, I figured it would be pretty difficult to get something I didn't already have. I don't have a 3/8 thumb drive and am super excited I get to add it to my collection. You can never have enough screwdrivers or baseball caps. The 5-1/6-1 screwdrivers are my favorites because of their versatility.

Thanks Oxjaw really appreciate everything. :D:D:D

Jim "Outlander", thanks so much for the great Canadian care pack. First and foremost, the syrup made the trip without damage! Looking forward to trying it soon. The mug is awesome, and I just hopped on the PT6 Nation to see what it's all about. Very neat stuff there too. The screwdrivers will come in handy also, and will join the Canadian made Richard striking pry bars I just purchased (picked those up from the Hot Deals section earlier this week). Unique hats are always appreciated, and it sounds like you guys have a great ATV club with an amazing amount of riding up there. Thanks again!

Glad you like the gifts:thumbup:!! I was stoked when you posted up on the thread I started about restoring the vise. I told my wife that the spider caught a fly:bounce:.

Cool thing is that my SS made me a custom sign to hang on the wall (thanks again MarkDuncan93). To me, that's the best type of gift to recieve especially on this site. We obviously have tools and more than likely know how to use them.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

First off, Merry Christmas to all of you guys. This year my Secret Santa was Caper150, I was surprised to see that everything was wrapped...Note to self, wrap everything next year.
Darryl included a Christmas card and note along with the gifts.

A gorgeous airbrushed piece.

And I got a 3 sided orange Snappy screwdriver and a sweet set of Felo screwdrivers, my first time handling a set of these and I look forward to trying them out.

Thank you very much, I really pleased with the gifts.

Dan

Edit I almost forgot to thank BWP for his hard work on once again organizing this year's Secret Santa, and Ryan and company to allowing us to have fun on such a great site.

Cretecoater,

A big Canadian Thank You for your thoughtful gifts. It is obvious you spent time doing some research.

Two new Channellocks to add to my collection. The locknut pliers will be a great addition, as I was struggling a few weeks back as I re-installed a box for lighting. The 420's will look great next to the bigger brothers.

You also noticed I am a cigar smoker. The trimmer will come in handy when I sit down to enjoy a hand-rolled cuban!

In this weather the scrapers are a necessity. I assume there is a story behind Danlap's garage - perhaps your preferred independant?

Once again, a big thank you for taking the time to research and ship out these great gifts. Best wishes to you and yours on this Christmas Day and fo 2014!

Outlander-

I'm glad you like everything and am even more thankful it arrived in time for Christmas!

My shop in progress was a former Ford/Merc/Edsel dealer. I found those ice scrapers in one of the upstairs rooms. If you search my posts you can find my thread on the building....I really need to put the link in my SIG.

Merry Christmas!

Here's my Christmas Secret Santa stuff - many thanks to whomever it was! Got two Craftsman socket wrenches, both USA made, one is a polished 3/8-drive, and one is a flex-head long-handled 3/8-drive. Also got a new Snap-On coffee mug and a 12-oz can coozy.

Merry Christmas to all!
