My SS this year kicked-***!
“Tool_Scrounge” shipped me a HUGE box of vintage tools!

Shipped all the way from California... There’s probably over 50+ sockets in here, mainly S-K, Blackhawk & Craftsman!

A bunch of great wrenches, AND one very cool old pair of blacksmithing tongs!
How did he know? ;) Haha.

Awesome job man… I can’t thank you enough!
They will all be put to good use.

I hope everybody has a great holiday and I can’t wait for next year!
Thanks again! Merry Christmas GJ!

Here is the Awesome Wera screwdriver set, socket set, and Snap-On Drag Link sockets from Madison069!

I didn't get to open them early in the day because we started the day off with a bang at work... It's finally slowed down some.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas!

Awesome assortment of gifts from cnttxmdc. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

xmas-gjss-swag.jpg

I hope that's what you were wanting! Is that punch the right one? If not, we'll work it out with Amazon!

I threw in some work items that I thought you might be able to use. I was on duty when I shipped it off, and knew I would be today too. Thought I'd share a little of where it was all coming from...

I received these awesome items from Jerry in Arizona. Not sure what your name is on here but thank you very much. One flash light is now in my truck and one in my car and the other will stay in the shop. The little mini tool set is cool and will go in the laundry room since I need to replace some parts on my wife's dryer. And who cannot use shop towels:thumbup:

I was hoping my ss would have posted already. He has been on the site. Maybe didn't like it... :(

No worries Flashman, I really like the signs!

Here is a photo of the (2) awesome signs as well as a sweet miniature vise. Flashman thinks it's a jewelers vise and I tend to agree with him but if anyone has any more info on it I would love to hear it.

And BTW, you nailed it with the Ford sign. Although I don't have a Ford yet, I am looking for the right '65-'66 Convertible Mustang to buy.

Sorry for not being very active on the boards lately and making your job tougher than it should have been but you did a great job!

It's jerryW on here. So glad that it got there in good shape. Tried to pack it securely!

LOLed when you were posting about the shake test and feeling it was squishy!

Enjoy!

Thanks to my SS wearing one of the hats now and everything in the box was awesome!!

My 17yo daughter already stole the coffee cup, and the youngest son claimed the camo hat. Darn kids.

Merry X-mas to you and yours.

I have been completely blown away by my SS, Don (PECVD2)! He provided a 2-part gift that was spectacular! My family traditionally opens gifts on Christmas Eve for one side, and Christmas morning with the other. That of course is followed by dinner on both sides. I've been waiting all dang day to open up my GJSS gifts!

The first package I opened was from Harry Epstein. The box was long and heavy. I had absolutely no clue what it could be. What I found was the mother of all screwdriver sets! These Proto cabinet drivers are going to find their own special drawer in the shop. These tools will be put to good use quickly.

I then opened the second box. Don's note made it very evident that he took some time to investigate my interests. To say he hit the mark would be a drastic understatement!

You may notice my garage is nicknamed "The Rocket Shop". This is because I'm responsible for a Space Exploration and rocketry classroom in Oberlin, Ohio. I acquire, organize, and construct all the displays for this classroom.

Part of my program is to educate youth about the vast opportunities available to pursue in "space jobs". Don gifted me several items from Boeing and other sources that will be placed on display. One of which is a very cool translucent mug. (That might just make it to my office at work!)

I really appreciate the effort PECVD2 put in for me. A big thumbs up from me!

-DanB

I am glad you like the tools. I was worried the Priority Mail box would not make it there intact so I used a lot of tape, cardboard, and glue. I am happy to hear that you can get some use out of them.

Merry Christmas!

I'm very glad - and relieved - that you like them.. I found them fairly easily and was afraid you'd already have them.

Thanks to my Secret Santa for the "care package". There are always a few things one needs that they never get around to buying - and my Secret Santa picked them up for me. This gift exchange is always a bunch of fun and I am looking forward to next year.

Thanks again!

Addrock really hooked me up this year. He sent out 2 awesome bottles of beer (one is dogfish head, so stoked!), a sweet mora knife, and the ever so awesome wera kraftform kompakt kit. I've been wanting to try the wera screwdrivers forever, and have yet to convince myself to buy more screwdrivers, so this is perfect. I really appreciate it, Addrock! Thank you so much!

Dan, I am glad the Rocket Shop can use the Proto Set and keep up the great work with the next generation of Americans. Let us all know if there is any thing else we can do to help you out in your classroom.

Sorry I'm late to the party, busy couple days for me.

A mystery secret santa from Indiana hit the nail on the head with this one.

attachment.php

Snap-On Racing hat (I have a minor obsession with hats)
Craftsman mechanic's gloves (right size too!)
Red Heel socks (always a good thing!)
Wilde sticker (nice!)
Car wash mitt (will come in handy since I finally have a car worth washing :lol_hitti )
Three SK screwdrivers (ask Jeff Moss... you can't ever have too many screwdrivers!)

Last but not least, about a hundred kinds of kickass...

...a Proto indexable 1/4" ratchet!

BTW, RV77 - glad you like the pliers and bench mat.

I knew from the ORM-D sticker and the oh-so-distinct rattle of .22LR in a plastic box, I had scored.

Homoudont nailed it, thank you and Merry Christmas!

1 Box 5.56x45
2 Boxes .223
3 Boxes .22LR

And a Williams B-52 wrench which is great on several levels.

That is an awesome SS, way to go Homoudont.

Outlander-

I'm glad you like everything and am even more thankful it arrived in time for Christmas!

My shop in progress was a former Ford/Merc/Edsel dealer. I found those ice scrapers in one of the upstairs rooms. If you search my posts you can find my thread on the building....I really need to put the link in my SIG.

Merry Christmas!

Well guys, I don't know where BnW has gone but we did a great job on his gift. We raised $245 and got him a gift card to Harry Epstein's. Jori sent BnW a PM a week and half ago but I don't know how often BnW comes around. His profile page doesn't show any login status. Anyway, I want to thank all the members who donated and those who wanted to donate, but just missed the deadline due to life matters. Merry Christmas again and hopefully BnW will chime in soon. Hopefully I am not missing anyone on my list, I am not sure if I got both members names on that sent me an envelope to my home.
