I've been real good too, but I had to pay full $315 for the swivels...:(

Gotta start busting his balls more often... I've signed up for week 13's special (FAR7000 and impact semis) let's hope I get some discounts.
I imagine all the drivers set their own price to some extent. I paid $243. You still got a pretty darn good deal. That's still over 200 off retail!

Any idea what the other weeks are?

Here's a few that I remembered (in no particular order):

Buy 3/8" swivels impacts, get the deep impacts free
Buy 4pc pry bar, get a dead blow ball pein free
Buy a MG725 (or was it a MG325), get metric and sae impacts free
Buy 1/4" and 1/2" ratchet, get the 3/8" free
Buy FAR7000, get metric and sae semi deep impacts free
Buy a die grinder, get the carbide burrs free
Buy PH3050B, get the chisels free
30% off chisels, FLF80 and a few other stuff

Do helicoils count? lol. Need to fix a stripped bolt hole in an aluminum block. I loathe aluminum blocks.

Got these coming tomorrow as well (1/4" drive metric flex sockets, these are astro pneumatics brand, 5 to 15mm)

I've been on a wee bit of a spending spree and bought:

A few Facom things from Ebay. The hammer and punch are made in France. I believe the micrometer is rebranded.

A 3/8" socket set and circlip plier set from Ebay seller izzyed. I've bought quite a few things from him in the past and he kindly gave me a gratis pair of pliers too. The ratchet is made in Gemonio, Italy and the pliers are made in Laissey, France. I'm usually go to Knipex for pliers but the Facom set was much cheaper. I've very impressed by the quality too. The tips are piano wire and angled nicely to stop the circlip slipping.

I wanted some decent hex and torx bits and I've been very impressed by the Bondhus stuff I already own. I couldn't find the torx bits for sale in the UK so ended up ordering them from Suncoast Tools in the US. Even with added vat and Royal Fails £8 'handling charge' the prices were still better than the UK. I fancied some decent torx screwdrivers and I really fancied the Bondhus Ballstar ones so ordered them too. I am not keen on the handles though. I find the bigger ones uncomfortable bulky for my wee hands. :-( All the stuff is made in the US but I'm sure some children could do a better job of gluing in the 'Prohold' dots. It really is a slap dash job with glue splattered on and one of the dots was missing altogether. I'll have to spend sometime cleaning these up when I fit them the sockets. I have some spare sockets I am going to dedicate to these bits so it should be a one off job.

I fancied this long set of Toptul spanners made in Taiwan. I believe they make Facom 440 spanners which I've been really impressed with but are a little on the short side. At £35.59 inc. delivery I couldn't resist.

Went to the pawn shop the other day....Battery box is just holding HALF of the stuff I got in a no-name 3 drawer box(its deceiving but there are lots of sockets in there. All C-Man stuff...I gave the box and rest of the tools to my girlfriend's son. He's almost 12 and loves to work on stuff, so I've been helping him build a tool collection of his own...The C-Man box on the right is all 1/2 C-Man sockets and Proto wrenches....not bad I thought for $80.00....

Got an upgraded pinless impact swivel under warranty. Nice design.

Cal-van USA made disconnect tools & Lisle USA made disconnect tools. The cal vans i bought to fill up my cart at advance auto parts. The lisle ones i picked after wrestling with an evap canister large quick disconnect on a grand am fuel pump job.

I picked up a Wera T8 to T30 torx screwdriver set today. I'm really starting to like these handles. I have no idea why the tip colors don't all match. These were sold loose at Lee Valley Hardware.

That's funny. I was putting together an advance auto order last night and added the lisle disconnects and was looking at adding the cal van disconnects. I've never seen disconnects like the cal vans before. Where do you use those style? I want the lisle because I have the round style disconnects but I think the angled lisle ones will fit in places like fuel filters better.

I'd like to hear how you like or dislike it. I have the 1/4 flex and really don't like it, thinking I may sell it.

1/4" drive, 6 point, metric, flex sockets. I got on them pretty hard today and didn't break

They are these:

1/4" drive E12 flex socket from snap on. This thing wasn't cheap, but for getting to bellhousing bolts on a 545i, this should make things a whole lot easier.

And my rail of random stuff, e-torx, torx, hex, flex, e-torx flex, etc. Damn you German cars.

Have I mentioned I love Ernst twist lock rails? I need about 10 more

My first snap-on tools, ever. 3/8 standard 6-pts. Picked 'em up at a classic car swap meet for $200. :bounce:

Coool. My first snap on tool was a 3/8" flex ratchet, 80 tooth. I have put that thing through hell and it has never given me any issues. I would have broken three regular ones by now, but that thing just keeps working. I've jumped on the end of it before to loosen bolts that I really should have used a 1/2" breaker bar on, and it didn't skip a beat

They're expensive for sure but I can see why after how much abuse this thing has taken

I've been working with a pair of halogen work lights with the tube bulbs for the longest time. I use them alot when working in the driveway at night. Everytime I go to use them one or both bulbs are blown. Then I got to find where I put the bulbs and then change them out. I'm tired of messing with them...

Picked these up at Lowes for $34 a piece. Pretty comparable in light output to the halogens and use alot less power and create almost no heat. They are also weather proof. Haven't used them for a long period yet but I think I'm going to like these. :)

Utili-tech Pro LED Work Lights.

Finally decided to get my sockets organized. So picked up a few of these guys. Also saw a bunch of these bottle openers on sale for $1.97 so picked some up to give to friends/family.

Had some HF coupons. Add two 8" C-Clamps to my growing hoard. Never can have too many. Needed a spare punch set. Also picked up some cutoff discs.

Used some Sears SYW points and a coupon to get the Craftsman tools. The Snap On ball pein is from Ebay via the Hot Deals section.

Good :)headscrat) weekend for tools, I guess.

My 10-12 year old bottom-of-the-barrel Craftsman 10" miter saw basically fell apart when I made the first of many cuts needed to install baseboards throughout my daughter's new-to-her home. The side of the saw's plastic body just shattered, exposing the arbor carrier bearing!

I had no choice, I needed a new saw immediately. A quick trip to Home Depot and I got the DeWalt DW713 10" Compound Miter Saw. I've made several hundred cuts with the provided blade and it cuts great. Highly recommended if you don't need a slider....nor the extra $300 it takes to get one! Now I want the DeWalt stand for this baby.

I wasn't sure how to post multiple photos from my iPad so I'll just make a second post.

I needed to drill through multiple studs to install an electrical outlet behind my daughter's new stove so I bought two Bosch 12" Quick Connect drill bit extensions and one of their 3/4" fancy-*** spade bits that was 18" long all by itself. Looked like THIS stock photo I pulled off Amazon. Incidentally, it cuts FAST for. Spade bit. Highly recommended. Don't know how it'll last, but for one use, kick ***!
