Snap On guy just stopped by because he found something I was looking for. $40 brand new. It was sitting in his basement for a while and he found it this morning and brought it over.

Is this one an older F80? Mine doesn't say USA on the handle and I thought no of the newer Snap-on ratchets say 'usa'

I could be wrong, but to my knowledge, only the first run of 80's had USA on he head. I believe they all have USA on the handle. Or at least that is what I thought.

Mine doesn't say USA anywhere... According to its date code, mine is a 2010 model.

Haven't checked the date code on my FHLF80. Just got a new one off the truck a few months ago. Swore mine said USA on the handle. Guess I need to recheck.

Stahlwille 10780 hammer and 10842 dolly.

I had some Martin's come in, but sent them back. Too many imperfections for a new tool for my liking.

Very nice pieces! Where did tou get them from ? And if youbdont mind sharing cost .

Amazon carries the full Stahlwille catalog, and have the cheapest prices stateside when you factor in shipping.

Of course I just figured out that Hazet and Stahlwille just rebrand Picard autobody tools, and Picard has a much larger catalog of tools at a much lower price. Best price I've found for Picard hammers is hammersource.com, but they don't seem to stock anything but the hammers:sad: I'm sure they can get other stuff, but it will be a long wait I'm sure. steetz.com carries the full line of Picard it seems. Prices are a bit higher, especially since they're in Canada and shipping can be a bit pricey.

Thanks. The ones in the green box still had the plastic wrap on it. Except for where the 1/2 socket was. That one seems to be new but older. There's a 1/2 sk ratchet there that still has the price sticker residue on it. Still shiny & unused..can't wait till I get to use them all.

Too lazy to take my own pic at the moment, but I got 4 of these in today. I wanted some stronger magnets. Was having fun sticking them together and having my son try to get them back apart.

Yes.

It's an F80 with assembly bolts through the coverplate. I think the earliest ones had USA but don't quote me.

The newer F80A has them through the logo side of the ratchet head. Something to do with the bolts getting loose was an issue.

I'd take the early one over the late one. :)

You mean S80A. Only the 1/2 drive ratchets had the problem with screws coming loose.

Early 80s had the USA on the head, then no USA, now it's on the handle.

Grabbed some jack stands on sale to put under the Outlander. Not, I won't use them under the Dodge Ram.

how much have you spent there?

Way too much! To the best of my records I've spent $1675.79 which would include a couple items not in the picture. The Snap On web site pricing for the same items would be 3328.8. So essentially 1/2 of web site prices. All the tools are new or next to new - i was quite selective.
