My most recent purchases. VIM Triple square set. 3/8" Matco ADV swivel sockets. I should have just got the gray pneumatic swivel sockets but at least Matco can warranty these easier.

I've had the GP set for a couple years now and I've put them through hell and had no problems...

I picked up a Ernst Stubby Wrench 11-Wrench Organizer at Northern Tool today for only $5.99 each. It rang up for $6.99 but they honored the shelf tag price. It is cheaper then Amazon which has it for $8.15.

Anyway I really like it. The plastic is soft and supple which allows the wrenches to fit very nice. It is also Made in U.S.A!

I also picked up some Deep Creep to rub on my tools when I clean and put them away. I heard good things about this to keep tools from rusting.

I was at a bull roast this weekend where they had a couple of tables of silent auctions going on. I ended up picking up a brand new Fluke 117 for 85 bucks. It just so happens I was about to buy a new multimeter anyway so the timing was great for me. Sorry no pics

Another parcel from Sears landed, badly packed huge box as usual...

Impacts are made in Taiwan and seem good value at £13.00 for the set.

So I get sent from work to run and pick up some rear brake rotors and pads to a Cadillac at our local auto parts store. Was shopping the isles while they were getting the parts and saw a valve stem core tool that I needed at home a few days ago. So I go up to pay for said tool and the guy waiting on me(knows my dad/boss very well) goes hang on. Walks in the back and comes out with a box full of what must have been old stock. In said box was a valve stem tool, a valve stem puller, 5 pocket screwdrivers, a sk 1/2" to 3/8" adapter, and a sk 3/8 drive 1/2" swivel socket. Let's just say I left with a smile on my face at no charge. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1397598101.569041.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1397598132.016356.jpg

Sorry no pics of the other stuff I put everything else away already and forgot this was in my pocket

GW Metric set 50% off at advanced.

Then I decided to stop by sears and grabbed a few sale items. They still had a ton of USA pry bars. That may be my next purchase.

Very nice! Can I ask the damage? Is this a 7 pc kit?

Its was a 4 piece kit and a 3 piece kit from Zoro tools. Also had a $25 coupon! I was getting ready to bite on a Trusty Cook set when a buddy turned me on to these and did the legwork to find a good deal.

Picked up 7, 8, 9, 21, 22 and 24 mm flank drive plus wrenches for $90 plus a $20 starbucks gift card last night. One of the techs is leaving the company and needs some money, luckily I had cash and needed these sizes to complete my set.

Yeah, pretty good size. It starts out at 155 ftlbs which is probably more than any one bolt on my current vehicles requires haha.

2014 VW Tiguan.
Rear doors. You "need" this special tool to remove the rear door handle.
I fought with pick hooks and bent up wire hangers and what not.
Finally borrowed this tool from another shop. Did the trick.
I bought one cause if I didnt we would have another Tiguan in the shop tomorrow. Now that I own one, we will never see one ever again.
