I see several threads / posts about guys having problems posting photo's or photo's appearing HUGE in a post, but I'm looking for the basics, the real "step 1, step 2, step 3 of inserting reasonably sized photo's into a post.

I' m sure the instructions are here somewhere, but just can't find where. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Mine seem to come out the same size when I upload my pictures on Photobucket and then copy the IMG link and paste it here.

Step 1:
Take picture

Step 2:
Upload picture to Photobucket

Step 3:
There are four URL's you're allowed to choose from:

Email and IM
Direct
HTML
IMG

Use the IMG URL.

Step 4:
Paste URL in a reply here and post.

Okay, I figured out how to post pictures, and posted a couple in the "Test" thread ( "Picture Test, I Guess Everyone should Try One!" ) but the images in the post are huge.

How do I post them so that they appear in a reasonable size?

The pictures appear just fine on my phone but if you want to resize them, you may have to resize them on your computer first. You can use the Paint program that comes with Windows to resize to your liking and then upload.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I thought they were pretty big when I viewed them on my computer, I needed to scroll sideways to see all of each picture.

Since you are the only one who answered me, I guess they must be okay.

Thanks!!

No problem!

The difference could be screen size or screen resolution but seeing as how I'm on a 17" screen (laptop) which is pretty small, it's most likely resolution. I'm viewing everything at 1920x1080.
