Yes, that's how it works. The engine uses 7-quarts of oil and it is cheaper to buy oil in a 5-quart container, but sometimes difficult to pour oil from the big container without spilling. The funnels are supposed to work really well, and I decided to treat myself for $25 and save some hassle. (We really do have 1st world problems in this country, don't we?)

So I've been looking at ball end hex drivers lately. While I like the screwdriver style ball drivers I really don't have space in my toolbox for the set. So I thought that I would try a set if these insert bits. They should work great with my ratcheting screwdriver.

Got this a few days ago. Nothing expensive, but perfect for me as a DIY'er
I just about got on to fill it out.
This is what garage journal tells me. I'm sure ATF will be just fine.
Is there any place special to get super lube. My wife hates when I use ATF. It has it's own special scent

You can get super lube at harbor freight. I recently got the 1/4 and 3/8 flex version of the 120xp I had high hopes for them but wasn't really that impressed with them. They were new but showed up all beat up from trident so that didn't help any. My 1/4 drive the head is kinda off center ever so slightly and bugs me. Oh well live and learn. Snap on versions in my future.

Its a dual end flex head low profile ratchet 1/4 on one side 3/8 on the other.
