Snap On, Gearwrench, SK, Blue Point, CAT and Proto. I have two sets of long pattern wrenches in metric and standard, I would like to get rid of my Gearwrench for long pattern SK's.

I have a full set of Home Depot Husky that cost me under $40.

...a full set of Craftsman USA RP that cost me around $50.

...and a small metric and SAE set of Snap On (10 wrenches) that cost me about $500.

I think my favourite is my Husky set - beautiful chrome with the little Wolf logo. Sometimes those Chinese can make some fine tools!

Williams Supercombos and Craftsman RPs up to about 1"/21mm, and a mix of Proto, Kobalt USA and Northern Tool up to 2"

Lots of Gearwrench ratcheting combos mixed in as well.

John Deere was SK for awhile (Not the V-throat style though, not sure who made those).
The v cut JD wrenches were made by bonney and are top notch. The bonney, matco, john deere wrenches are my daily users.

The older hard line john deere tools were almost all made by bonney. I have never seen an SK made john Deere tool and would love to see one but I think you are mistaken.

Im pretty sure my John Deere wrenches are Stanley. Most of Deere's tools are imports and the ratchets and wrenches all look to be the same as the Stanley Walmart sells. Deere does off USA sets which is what I own. Im purely guessing, but since stanley makes the imports, they also supply the USA. I bought mine 7-8 years ago and with an employee discount were about $150 each. Not bad for a USA full polish metric set from 6-32mm. Sae set is 3/8" to 11/4". Deere also nice USA prybars cheap.

I'd like to know who makes the current John Deere tools. I have a set of metric wrenches from 20-32mm. Another guy here has some as well. They've held up well.

Not really sure how to answer this because...

I have Craftsman Industrials but those are actually made by Armstrong
I have Craftsman Professionals but they were made by SK (later ones were made by Armstrong).

I have seriously considered getting some Wrightgrips because I really like the SO Flank drive plus like jaw serrations and the price is fair but I'm used to "long pattern" type wrenched and the Wrights just seem a little short for my liking.

What is the brand stamped in them? Clearly, Cman Pro and Industrial. Industrials are actually made by Apex tool group, which owns armstrong.

You list something I've never heard of, a cheap import, and another, lesser none, lesser bought import....I'd say the 10 options were chosen pretty well, tho next time I'm trading carlyle for gearwrench...

Mostly SK SuperKrome, a few Craftsman RPs, a few SO, and the Craftsman Pro stubby set. Also have a few random ones, mostly not combos though... some old no name "West Germany" DOE wrenches, and a few ancient Williams Superrench, SK RP, etc. from my grandfather...
