Interesting, I've roller skated in my younger days but not that style.
that's the skate key.
way back when roller skates were metal (wheels and body) and the were adjustable to fit the size shoe you wore.
strapped right to your tennies.
that was the tool to adjust 'em.
those skates were awful to ride and noisey.
remember the song "i've got a brand new pair of roller skates, and you've got a brand new key"
Took a gamble and headed to a garage sale a town away. Boy am I ever glad I did!

83, I suspect that Blackhawk box is from WWII, where many tool companies diverted to wartime production.

Well, that will come in handy, as I own one hand saw, and can't remember where I saw it last.
Thanks guys.
How much do you want for the saw vise shipped? I could use it.

I'm sending a PM for your zip.

Armstrong? 1/4" ratchet
bigcaddy, that's an S-K or of the S-K family. Could be a chrome-alloy or Artisan, or if you want to get real crazy, an S-K made Mac ratchet.

Look closely, and you'll see "Proto Los Angeles MFD USA" stamped over (or possibly under?) "JP Danielson Jamestown, NY, USA". A bad quality day at the plant turned into a conversation piece!
