I am not sure but I think not many people realize that you can use an allen key to tighten the newer vise grips.
What's the model # on that fluke? How much did u pick that up for

canuckian - nice purchase right there!
Its on my list of tools to buy. I've been slacking, need to post the pics of my recent tools.
You also have the 1/2 one right? If so how do you like it so far?

thanks...I'm quite happy with it. Liking the 1/2 quite a bit so far. Just the fact that the battery cover doesn't unscrew itself every time I use it helps justify the extra cost![]()

Also joining the fluke bandwagon today. 287 came in.

i had one of the older 3/8 that every time your finger thought about coming within an inch of the cap, it would reset itself...very useful when you're torquing 32 oil pan bolts and it resets every 3![]()

Step your game up![]()
Man Ruger you're going to need a bigger box soon! Nice looking tools, I enjoy seeing your new stuff for some reason. I like that as a mechanic you opt to take the industrial route with most of your tools instead of purely tool truck.

Someone just delivered my package from Amazon. Left it on the porch so I didn't see who it was. But surprised anyone is delivering on Thanksgiving. But I'll take it. Love these screwdrivers.
Man that bad boy is nice. Makes my fluke87 look like childs play. But the 87 gets the job done properly. All that counts. Anyreason you went with this meter??
Happy Thanksgiving!
Fuller Pro screwdrivers are great! I've got the same set. They're probably the best value-for-money brand I've seen. The classic fluted handles allow lots of torque without hurting your hand and don't need a death grip to do so. Despite having many other brands at my disposable including high end European ones, I honestly find Fuller Pro the most comfortable screwdrivers I've ever used. And at least in Canada they're readily available in most big box or hardware stores.
Nice to see they're available in the US.![]()
His Christmas lights weren't working.
I am also jealous, I have an 87iii, would love to have that but cannot justify that.

) and 1/2-3/8 impact adapter. No doubt it is a bit of overkill. I was split between this and the 87. The main things that drew me too it were with the larger display, the min/max/ave readings are always displayed along with the live reading when in that mode. It has a clock and you can record and review data with it. I suspect it will help with overnight draws identifying exactly when the draw occurs. With the infrared usb cable, I can apparently download recordings into my laptop, although I haven't had time to mess with that feature yet.
Milwaukee's factory sale today and picked up the 1/2" 2655 impact wrench for $125. The Snap-on truck also swung by and dropped off the Toyota oil filter caps ($140) and 1/2-3/8 impact adapter.

Do you still have the old 87iii? If it is suffering from the fading digit syndrome, PM me. I'll let you know how to fix it. It's basically a free fix.Yeah i just upgraded from my old 87iii to the new 87V. Basically the same meter just new and shiny. My old 87 served me very well. The screen went bad.
Details on the impact? I've been looking for a 3/8 (2654). Lowest I've found is around $155
My local Milwaukee service center have quarterly sales at the back of the warehouse, and it's usually refurb units.
I'd just get it at $155. I've been looking around and waited way too long for this kind of price to show up, lugging the big boy (2763) around gets tiring fast.
In my opinion, if you need it, just buy it. You'll soon forget the price difference.
