Don't just assume blue point is made in china. Very little blue point is china made. There is a lot of USA blue point aswell as Taiwan...Spain and various other countries

Your snap on guy must have a hard time with reading comprehension. Blue point tools are a mix of China, Taiwan, USA, Spain, etc. About 99% of my tools are USA made and while I only have four blue point tools, three of them are USA made.

Love the stripper/crimpers...look similar to the snap on ones.
One thing I noticed looking at ur MATCO impacts are they skip 24mm. My sunex set did the same thing

Those look sweet!

I also have the Snap On version. Grips on the VIMs are a little cheaper but they seem to cut and strip better than the Snappys

I love my fuel grinder. I see the got the slide switch as well, smart choice! It's nice just to turn it on and do your business without having to hold a trigger.

21 years. And I remember my first day like it was yesterday. I was the greenest greenhorn ever. I did not even know how to swing a hammer.

That's impressive! I want to see your old hammer bag!!! Must look like war!!

When I joined the union 16ish years ago, I stopped using a tool belt. I occasionally used a Carhartt apron. Mostly, I just used my pockets and overalls.

A lot of guys have tool belts, but rarely wear them. I heard a lot of negative comments about guys who wore them…

Anyways… One day, I was on a job with a guy wearing nice bags… That was all it took. I wanted some.

So, I bought the Occy's. The job that I was on was at a steel mill, so I could not use them (they would have been ruined). Other jobs that I have been on had the Rubbermaid carts. I do not usually wear my bags if I have a cart a few feet away… But when I do wear them, I love them. I had the High mount hammer holder from Occidental leather first, but it was just not right. I hope that I like this one better.

SLF80A to go with the FLL80 and TLL72. They're all nice but man that SLF80A is smooth has no back drag.

link?
what is the biggest size socket?

The biggest metric socket is 27mm. Biggest SAE is 1&1/16 inch. Sorry no link. The day after the seller shipped out the set, his account was suspended by e-bay. Thankfully I still got the set I paid for.

Can't wait to try out the ratchets, and use the heck out of the service kit.

Jason

How do you like those Steelman Pro Cobra 160 ratchets? I just got the Gearwrench XP120 set, and have been looking at the Steelman 160's online.

Wow talk about naive. Hey im a snap-on guy through and through. But alot of snap-on tools are made in spain, tiawan and other various countries as well as usa. And as others stated theres tons of blue point that is made here in the usa. You need to broaden your horizons man. There are way better pliers out there then snap-on. In my opinion and i know others will agree alot of the german plier companys make some of the best pliers on the planet.

I will need to do a quick video, because these ratchets are beyond description.

The mechanism is solid and consistent. Handles are bold and heavy. Good feel in the hand and finish is impeccable.

Just a different kind of ratchet and it's equitable to owning a piece of functioning art.

I'm glad I had the $50 Gift Card from a business associate, as it made buying them easier and minimized the risk.
