I was working on the car Sunday night and needed a long 3/8th drive ratchet, and harbor freight was the only place I could make it to before closing time. Surprisingly nice. The swivels seem decent enough too for the price.

Jeopardy - I was looking at those mach t handles but never pulled the trigger. I didn't know if they would see much use. Have you tried them out yet?

Nice! I have a couple of Harbor F. Ratchets and they are good for the $ spent can't complain. I also like your collection of BMWs at the bottom there :) I am a BMW guy myself

I tried them out in the store and just the torque I seemed to get on a screw was pretty impressive. I do a lot of engine work and I can see these being pretty useful down in between belts and engine mounts where I can't get a hex driver or an impact. They don't make a 1/2" and I suppose this is because anything that big would probably be accessible.

They were 1/2 price and I had points so I thought I would give them a try. One of those tools that probably won't get used a lot but when I need it I'm sure I'll be glad I have them.

I used the 1/4 enough... to justify getting the 3/8 version... used points for the majority of the price.

I plan on using the 3/8 t spinner handle this weekend when I break down my lawn tractor for needed repairs.

I like how they feel and work on exposed fasteners. Won't use the screwdriver bits tho...

have that style in both 1/4 and 3/8". the torx screw for the flex head seems to like coming loose, but apart from that they seem like a really solid buy for the money

I've been checking out those craftman t handle drivers also...glad to hear positive things about them. mac wants over $100 for "their" version and the matco ones are expensive also. mac does offer the driver in 1/2" though, havent found anyone else selling them in 1/2". though 1/2" might be nice for lugnuts to get them started, but i'm sure 3/8" would be okay too

I had been looking to upgrade my nicad batteries to liion for a while now....this combo is on sale at HD for $99 - drill, impact driver, and 2 batteries. I used it today already and it is very nice.

I really like that Ryobi combo, even if I bought it for more money last year (around $120). I used the impact driver to build a fence using square head stainless steel screws, removing fasteners (car and home). I have not used the drill yet.

I think for home use it is a great combo at a great price (and spare batteries are not that expensive).

This was delivered today.
Looking at this in person it's hard to believe it's made in PRC.

Bought a new box from a classifieds website, oddly I had to pay in US$, but it came with a full set of new unused SK sockets, some SK wrenches and some new unused Easco and KD sockets, among other things.

Makita LCT200W Impact driver/Drill combo.

Very nice. I have the driver-drill and love it. Nice and light, fits the hand well and plenty of power. I should have bought the set with the impact driver like you. Mine was the tool, 2 batteries, charger, hard case and a portable light that ran off the 2nd battery.

Now I'm looking to try and get my hands on the impact from somewhere because I don't think the newer bare tools are backwards compatible with the compact batteries.

Well my thin wall 21mm Grey Pneumatic finally cracked yesterday man I loved that thing. Definitely a fantastic socket especially for its price! But anyways Matco happened to be there so I picked up their thin wall 21mm

And the Snap On guy really knows how to make a deal so I couldn't say no to the Ct761 body. I'm also waiting for my Milwaukee M18 fuel 3/8 that I should have in Monday.

It's not a new 'tool' but should make my time in the garage more entertaining. I still have to mount it though.

Are those USA made or Taiwan? I have some made by Crescent (I think) and they are imported. They work, but not great. When you need them, nothing else seems to do.

Imported. I believe it was Taiwan...just like most of MAC's pliers (with the exception of Knipex and Channellock rebrands).
