When i saw this on my local for sale site i almost had a heart attack. Before my brain could figure out if the price was a mistake or not i noticed it was sold already. Maybe the person who bought it will post it here. Oh and tools included .

Gearwrench 1/2" 84 tooth locking flex ratchet. Gearwrench ratcheting t-handle with some different shanks. K Tools side cutters.

I like that 1/2" flex....what did that set you back? I can't afford a truck 1/2" and I'd like a finer tooth than the Armstrong that I have.

Today I received my Snap-On warranty replacement.
warranty_zpsw2swezox.jpg

The shaft is mildly bent and Snap-On sent me a new shaft with a new (and perhaps improved?) Torx T8 tip.

The chrome plating on the spanner was peeling from the Flank Drive Plus end.

More and more addicted to the m12 fuel! As I sad before a couple of times the 12v fuel series is more like 18v tool in a small package! Very nice stuff[emoji106]

How do you ike this compared to the M12 Fuel impact driver?

I like that 1/2" flex....what did that set you back? I can't afford a truck 1/2" and I'd like a finer tooth than the Armstrong that I have.

It was about $50 from Tooltopia. I actually ordered and received an Armstrong 12-994 from Home Depot but what I ended up with was the older 60 tooth. I returned it and was going to wait for the 88 tooth to come back in stock somewhere but started reading a little about the Gearwrench and decided to give it a shot.

The flex head locking mechanism is pretty much identical to the Armstrong. I think I might even like the way it works better than the 3/8" Snap-on locking flex I got recently.

Just from turning it by hand I think the out of the box back drag is a little less than the 60 tooth Armstrong I had for a few days. But unfortunately I can't say how it compares to the 88 tooth Armstrong.

I think the Gearwrench is going to work just fine for me as a weekend warrior kind of guy though.

Which Armstrong do you have? You might be able to just pick up an 88 tooth rebuild kit for your current ratchet. If you have the 12-992 or 994 I'm pretty sure you can do that.

^Wish I had that. Just bought the Harbor Freight 90 Amp so that I could get into welding. Wish I would have had the money for the Hobart.

In all reality the "140" on these 110V welders isn't really "140" at all when you dig into reality.
If your 90 uses gas get some .023 to .025 wire and go with straight CO2 rather than C25 mix. It's a little more finicky to get the heat and wire speed right but the wanna-bees are the ones whining about spatter.CO2 also gives a little more penetration and stays closer to the puddle in a breeze. It's also considerably cheaper to buy. I was welding full time long before the mix scam arrived on the scene.
You'll need the proper guide rollers for the small wire but weld city and others will be able to come up with them. It's generic China stuff.

The machine doesn't make the welder. You can work up to 1/8" thick with that little 90 with proper technique.

Got the Mayhew set a couple of days ago as a birthday gift. Got the rest today when I went to Menards to get a single bolt. The second picture isn't so great. The screwdriver set is a masterforce precision torx set, t5-t9.

Not the shiniest tool in the world, but harmonic balancer puller came in. Needed when doing a cam swap on a supercharged Corvette, so it should be fun in the end :)

It's actually made for Chrysler balancers but fits in the tight space on the Corvette very well supposedly. I destroyed a harbor freight one trying to get it off the last time, so hopefully this one fairs better

Found these on clearance at Sears Hardware. I have an identical pair at work with blue grips labeled Imperial and I like it quite a bit. Made in USA.

I have those and the orange handled Lang Kastar ones. Both well worth having.

5" bench grinder at the flea market, $10. Black & Decker, made in England. Seems to work fine, just need some new wheels for it.

It works great, I've done several cam swaps using that same puller. Don't forget to get a new crank bolt if you haven't already.

I found the Enerpac pump on the left on Kijiji and when I picked it up, the guy offered to have both as well as the valves for $100. I jumped on that deal. When I get a chance, I'm going to clean them up and get em in shape. Probably sell one of them. The other will make a great pump for my press and one day, my new larger homemade press. A homemade log splitter might be in the future as well.

Picked up some flex spline wrenches, look like another company branding the same old one's. Also Frank hooked up on some semi deep kokens, metric and standard plus individuals to fill the metric holes.
Oh, and a US husky torque wrench

I have the Snap-on or Blue Point version. I've found it very handy to have around. Honda had a warranty extension on A/C compressor clutches on CRV's and I've found you can turn the compressor sideways drop the subframe slightly and get that puller on it and it comes right off.
I've used it on several odd jobs and lent it to co-workers plenty of times. It works on way more than Chryslers.

Here are my tool arrivals for the last couple weeks :bounce:

Coast Products Polysteel Flashlight 600

This 620 lumens flashlight was a warranty replacement for a 579 lumens unit I bought at Home Depot last holiday season.

OTC Tools 6506 Metric Double Flaring Tool Set (Made in Taiwan)

I bought this flaring set at Summit Racing Equipment. Here is the website link: LINK. It is of good quality. The only minor issue I see with the set is that the area of the case holding the metric adapters doesn't securely hold them in place. A few move around in their oversize circular slot.

I used it today to cut, double flare, bend, and connect two spliced lines (underneath the back seat) to a 4-way connector to the rear brakes on my Subaru Forester. One of the original lines was leaking brake fluid.

Bostitch 65 pc, 3/8" and 1/2" Dr Pass-Thru Socket Set (Made in Taiwan)

This set was originally priced at Walmart at 78.**. It was on clearance for the same price. :headscrat There were 3 units in stock. After haggling with the department manager, I got it for $40.00 like another GJ member several days ago.

The first is a full size parts washer. I have been telling myself I need one of these since I first used one and the right one just came along. It wasn't super cheap at $250 but it beats the Princess Auto ones. I actually have a small PA tub I got for free, brand new in box. The pump doesn't work and I was going to build on that but it's tiny. Pretty useless for any real work. Anyway, I need to clean the tank, tub, etc. A fresh change of varsol is on order too!

The 2nd "tool" is the vise stand. Bought it with a small vice that I sold and gave the mount a coat of paint. My Record No 6 will sit on top and the rim will be filled with cement. All in all, it's been an EXCELLENT weekend. The home shop is improving, one step at a time!

Edit: excuse the mess, I'm in the middle of totally re-organizing.
