I would like to add my two cents. If you guys can't appreciate the gift you might receive, please do not participate. I think that when someone takes the time to send you a gift, you should have the courtesy to at least thank them for the gift you received. Even if it is in the true Secrete Santa fashion and it's from a anonymous member, you could at least acknowledge that the gift was received. I remember last year there were some members that did not do that. It doesn't take a lot of your time to post a thank you for the gift. So I'm asking that if you are going to partake in this, that you also let the others know that the gift was received and appreciated. Not everyone is going to get that magical box that Twertsy sent out last year. So keep in mind that you might only get a cheap set of sockets. It is the spirit of Christmas to be grateful.

With that said.....I'm in

I'm in.

I also think the 'hint thread' would be a good idea as I'd like to be able to get something my recipient would really enjoy.

I'm in, already have one thing I'm sure every GJ member would love, and I'm looking forward to researching something specific for that individual...

Do you guys usually include something not tool related but from your home town or something like that with your Secret Santa package?

You're a Marine? Consider yourself vouched! Thank you for your service.

I've sent a PM to big santa. Now post more! :)

Thanks!!! Yes I am an active duty Marine and very busy at work this time of year. Not to mention Garage Journal is blocked on the work computers!!! I still need one more of you to help me out. I love this time of year!

In again, it makes a nice side line when stuck out of town. Gives me a reason to get out and about. And it's always interesting to see the treasures sent to me. I appreciate all that is sent.

Last year was my first with these fellas, hell I worried more about it than I did what I was buying the woman.
