Something isn't right about that ad. Those are two different vices.

Plus, neither one is worth pursuing.

Even if it's a real D44? was going to offer $25 for it

That Columbian is no good for 40$?

that was the reason I was going to look, never or seen a Columbian vice that was a POS even the ones that they made for sears were pretty good in the late 60's and early 70's and I believe that this one is

FLASH Sale- Lathe/Vise, Vintage Motorcycle Parts (Potomac)

This dude is selling stuff and I can't believe the low prices but if they're correct someone will be happy.

There's a mini lathe with quick change tool post and a ton of tooling for $25 and theirs a huge Kurt style vise (it's needs some luvin) for $25. It doesn't get any cheaper than that, those vises normally sell for 100's used.

This may seem expensive but that vise is worth some bucks, it's a huge 6" Wilton Bullet, 150 lb vise with swivel. The pedestal is pretty cool as well.

Try shooting him a $200-$250 offer to take it way, if he accepts and it's in good shape; believe it or not but you're pretty much stealing it for $200. One in really good shape and painted just sold for $1,100.

I would avoid those vises, even if it's a Columbian it's not a good one with the non-machined slide.

Try checking this one out, for $40 this should be better than the ones listed above:

Bench vise - $40 (Stewartstown)

Sorry I was probably drunk posting. Didn't notice the formatting style here.

Anyhow 3 phase motors aren't that bad, just buy a cheap chinese VFD and you can run it anywhere.

Was? Given the lack of context it does not appear the bottle has traveled far from your side.

Just FYI. Be wary of some of the tool sets and go look if they allow inspection. In the past at Ft Mead, Tobyhanna, and Mechanicsburg I have seen sets that often had abused tools, almost like all the guys had swapped out before the kit was hauled off for disposal.
I have also seen sets that were near perfect with only a piece or so missing too so be vigilant and perform some due diligence!

I work for a MFG factory and was given this when we were cleaning out an area, it is a custom made work bench that was made for us;

- Drawers are roller bearing and all have adjustable inserts to organize each drawer
- Over 1" thick solid wood table top
- Built in power strip
- Built in dry erase board & adjustable shelf
- Everything is made of heavy duty material, metal, aluminum
- Adjustable Fluorescent light with 3 T8 bulbs
- Everything is adjustable from the light, to the shelves, and the drawers

It is very very heavy duty and built like a tank, it easily weighs over 250 pounds and took me and 4 other guys to move it into the garage. The top part separates from the bottom for transportation, this costs thousands of dollars and I am asking a fraction of the price. I have to move and it makes no sense to take it with me, would work for anything & any type of need you can throw at it.

Located in Frankfort and obviously would need help loading, call or txt; $400

First thing we took out of those were the Gerber Multi tools. So often so that a multi tool was simply called "a gerber".

LOL, no wonder I've never seen one in a kit! Truly hit and miss on these if you're fortunate enough to be close and can go look there are some deals to be had for sure.

Man, there have been some great deals on Craigslist lately by me, but unfortunately, there's that pesky thing called work; For example, this past week alone, a FREE Baldor pedestal stand for a grinder, a $10 Craftsman 30 gallon compressor tank like new missing the motor, and a 3/4 hp Baldor Buffer in nice shape for $125 None of these has lasted a full day. Oh well, when I retire, Ill have something to look forward to.
