So "Monster" tools really exist! What is their relationship with Mac? I thought they were to be a new independent dealer. If their tools could be found easier or at all, they'd make a killing with all the green stuff they have.

Nice light.

Monster tools have an impressive catalog, but I've yet to see any of my dealers carry any of it. Dad had a guy up north carry it, which is where I saw the catalog.

Any chance you still have the calibration paperwork for the craftman? I was able to swap one out years ago with out a receipt using the calibration slip that was dated with in the warranty period. This was before the COO change, not sure if they even come with paperwork anymore.

I dont think the craftsman torque wrenches are covered under the warranty, i broke the same lock ring on my 1/2 several years ago and they wouldnt cover it.

Their site shows a 1yr warranty on the Click style torque wrenches with "proof of purchase". When I swapped out mine I didn't have the receipt, but the calibration sheet showed it left the plant less then a year before. Guy said no problem and swapped it out. Granted I could have just ended up with a nice (or not caring) CSR.

I'm assuming your in Edmonton? I am south east in Camrose. I didn't even see it was your username, you gave me the tip on the Milwaukee ratchet, lol. Thanks!

Yes I'm in Edmonton. I came to camrose once for some rims that I bought for my cummins. I liked that most of the little kids wear boots and not Nikes like here, and no worries about the milwaukee ratchet by any chance did you find out anything about it.

How much did you pay? I see one on eBay for $78, think it's worth that?

Just picked these up off the truck. Built like the proverbial brick *********.
Made and printed in Canada. Must be made by Richard?

Used it to change out an outdoor light for an LED one. Really like it. Wouldn't mind having a whole complete set of these bits.

PB Swiss bits are great aren't they, I also would like a complete set but they cost too much to get in one go, must also get one of those handles.

I do the same, but I bought a couple of things off the MAC truck today for a good deal.

BTW, the thread chaser set is good quality, it will come in handy.

Made a small purchase on the truck today. My Mac guy gives me great deals. 1/4" drive spinner handle with ratchet adapter, and a 5 piece left handed cobalt drill set.

On the next episode of Dragon Ball Z I mean Firworks, can the Milwaukee TruView light standup to the INVASION OF THE HALOGEN DROP LIGHTS?
SlWZOAr.jpg

I stopped by Menards to grab a bulb since my old halogen drop light burned out. Good lord are they cheap now. The 250w one was 12$ and the 500w one was 11$! I have a feeling they will be tough to beat in a shootout. The Milwaukee light is nice but the cheapness of these halogens is hard to be believing.

Who knows?
Fir that deadblow hammer in your signature picture looks suspiciously like a Trust Cook Model-7 am I right? That ridge on the top gives it away.

You couldn't be more wrong! It's an Estwing 88-E!... a branding of the TC Model 7. Good eye. It's my go to grab any time I need a hammer hammer so it got the spotlight in my logo. Can you guess the combination wrench?

Matco special for 119. I wonder it's lifetime warranty on this kit.

I have the same set but SO. They are made by Irwin and Mac truck sells the same kit too. And they are warrantied by all the trucks.

Really I just got it from the truck for convenience of warranty.
