Few recent additions...

Aoyue 937+ Soldering station...

Harbor Freight case for the station and acessories...

I needed some small screwdrivers for some electrical work so I check these out at HF while I was there getting the case for the soldering station. Turns out these are super nice and come in a nice case of their own!! Especially for $7.

Well after 5 years from my koken purchase from Rob I got my missing williams impact socket to complete my set. Also for the long time frame he threw in the free adjustable wrench. He is a stand up guy and I would recommend him to anyone. I said no rush and he got busy and we would email about it over the years and it became a joke.

Also finally got a cornwell from ebay another flat handle from snapon, but not sure wht. Also got in a proto pitman arm puller and still waiting on a facom I bought. I was going to order the facom from ultimate garage, but found the one I was looking for on ebay half price and I will post when it comes in, it looked pretty good condition wise.

I made a decent score today. A box of tools, mostly USA, for $40. 28 wrenches, a lot of them Proto, Challenger, one Plomb, one Mac, and a few others that say USA but are not badged, including the 3 offset double box wrenches. 2 old pipe wrenches, both USA, a Plomb ratchet, half a dozen crow's feet (2 are Snap On), a 10 inch 1/2" drive Blackhawk extension, and a few specialty wrenches. And a cool pick, a torpedo level, and this funky little wire funnel. In all, not sure if I took him to the cleaners or not, but I think I definitely got a good deal on some neat USA tools here.

nutsnbolts, you got a good deal. I don't need anymore bent old pipe wrenches tho. I think I would have made him keep those:Freak:

Thanks! I kinda like the old pipe wrenches. I am gonna find something cool to do with them! Besides, he wanted forty bucks and I had to take the whole box ;)

Blackhawk Proto pliers came in from eBay. Feel very nice and a pretty good price on them too. I think they are still up if anyone else wants a set.

Set of Felo Ergo Robertson screwdrivers #1 #2 and #3 for 11$ on Amazon Warehouse Deals!

Saw a 3 pack of thumb ratchets at HF and thought I'd grab them to compare to the SK thumb ratchet I just got from another deals thread.

Also the HF digital torque wrench / meter was on sale today and with another 20% off brought it down to... 26$? Hopefully I can play around with it a bit tomorrow but it feels surprisingly solid, came in a nice little case and actually had a cal certificate with measured values. I was pretty surprised by that. I'm gonna compare it against my new PI torque wrench to see where it's at.

While my wife was going to a wedding shower yesterday, I went to the Restore (zinch / skunked), Bloomington (IN) Hardware, and Kleindorfers Hardware.. The picture below is what I came home with from the hardware stores.

As a side note, Kleindorfers is a hidden treasure.. many cool tools and lots of NOS..

1/4" set that is currently cheap,
7-24mm 440 wrench set, I have wanted a set for a while, they are just really nice to use short combo wrenches.
3/8" long ratchet J157, got this nos for a really good price, its the same as an SK tuff1, needs stripping, cleaning and some oil as the grease in it is totally dried up.

Really?? Well now, this is a new one...trying to "up" somebody by saying mine is smaller...

Titan Micro

Lol, u got me. I dont know why I kept thinking it would be bigger, my other 1/4 ratchets are small too. I opened the box and and said holy cow this is small. Its actually 8 inches long, the website said 7, IMHO its plenty long, 6 inches would probably be enuf.

put in a bunch of OT, so was finally able to justify a few toys.

Lincoln 210MP, beeing eyeballing this for a while. Finally pulled the trigger, and had a few beads laid minutes after unpacking. Looking forward to getting some time to use it for a while.

Seriously looking at one of these. Especially with the $200 rebate. How do you like it? Does it come with the leads to stick weld out of the box? How do you like the display, kinda seems a bit gimicky....

Sykes Pickavant surface drive socket set, in 1/2" drive, IMO, the best sockets I've ever used for rusty or damaged fasteners. hard to get nowdays, so I was happy to get these for £70, (~110 bucks)

Not the OP but I love mine and it does come with the arc setup as well as mig. The display seems great so far.
