$9 yes it's either China or Taiwan for sure. Don't know if you can get a folding US made utility knife.

If Anyone knows of a US made folding utility knife let me know.

I held it in my hand and thought "I'm going to look for a USA one when I get home. If one does not exist, they have a rack full of these." :lol_hitti

These arrived today, picked up cheap from eBay. Don't really need the flat blade, as I was only really after the picks, but it's a nice enough one to keep hold of rather than flip it

Just got a new to me vintage Snap-on F70-N ratchet. I think it's a 1944 but I could be wrong.

Yep, Knipex/Oetiker 1099.

I only have size 16 terminals to crimp this time so i could have bought the single size ones which are cheaper, but i thought i'd do it properly this time as A) i know i would need a different size next month and have to buy another set and B) i have a tool problem.

I think I've finally acquired the last bits I need to safely get started with my new 211.

But its 90something degrees out, so it'll have to wait. :bounce:

Have you used them yet? If so are they any good? I love all the Knipex pliers I have but heard mixed reviews on the pinchers. I need a pair and I'm in between the Knipex and the Klein brand...

Yep i used them today, they worked really well crimping in both directions (end on and on the side). They were on stainless Oetiker clamps though which are very tough, i eventually got the crimp tight enough but it took a lot of hard work, thats not a criticism of the pliers though, i just think i needed so,ething like the Hazet 1847 tool. They seem upto the usual knipex high quality.

I'm a computer consultant, and my job sometimes entails taking apart computers or other hardware. I replaced my crappy screwdrivers with Wera and Wiha (Wera doesn't appear to make pentalobe drivers yet). I purchased an inexpensive pencil roll on Amazon to keep them all together.

That's a great idea!

Awesome, thanks for the report!

I might go ahead and pull the trigger on these.

Yeah I have two pair. One here the other at work (Problem much) although I didn't buy them.

Good for twin crimping with depth screw if you're OCD about it.

Not sure how often Id use it I halfheartedly bid on a 3/8 air ratchet.

Husky H4120 new on ebay, nobody else bid so I scored it for $18.

They run $90 to $100 so it was a decent buy and I figured even if I dont use it that often for that kind of money I couldnt go wrong.

:D Yeah , sure, I know it's true to a point....I guess, in my equipment work, I'm kinda where the old automotive guys where in the late 70's / 80's when MM crept into cars...I got by with one basic assortment of MM's up till about 5 years ago when it started hittin' big with lots of MM components, now it's whole machines MFR'd 100% in Europe....I'm not complaining though, except that I'm just not able to gauge sizes by eye like I can with SAE hardware...

When we were in the peace corp the metric was a no choice education. Once you get the 2 x 4 is 50 x 100 25 is an inch 300 is a foot and 1200 2400 is a sheet it starts coming pretty quick. Recipe weights and measures come easy for hippies ;-)

Part of my Zoro "Blossom" hit. Got these based in no small part on the good reviews here. Also got the Torx set but no pictures. Gearwrench set hasn't shipped yet.

This vise is so nice, the pics don't do it justice. I'm planning on buying one too. I was using one the other day at BAE. Its top quality and lifetime guarantee.

It looks very nice BUT it does not appear that one can replace the jaws!
