Nice, these old ads with specs are gold!

Fireworks, Dayid's list has the 205 at 25 lbs. and 4.5'' jaw width.---Having never seen one, I can't say that is wrong but the #206 is a 5'' jaw weighing 104 lbs.---That's a pretty good jump just for 1'' of jaw.

A Wilton 920 for five bucks?
Who is running an estate sale at a body shop that prices a baby bullet at $5 ?
What other stuff was for sale at 95% less than what it is worth?
Was there an SO Epic toolbox stack for $500 ?
Or maybe an old 427 SOHC engine in a wooden crate marked FOMOCO for $1000 ?
Stop me before I get REALLY carried away...

I could have done a few things better but I like how it came out and I had to drill out every screw in the vise because of how rusty it was trust me tried the impact screwdriver broke one bit and said time to drill.
No Markings found so far on vise, but hoping when get pin out and dynamic jaw to move, that it may result in confirmation of it being a Prentiss 22 (6 inch jaws and approx 165 pounds).

Good picking day today. Picked up this 5" Wilton bullet for $250. Really clean. Then picked up these three, Wilton 1765 in FABULOUS shape ($120), the 3" Starrett ($20) and this very complete 1" clamp on vise ($10).
Travelling to Lancaster PA tomorrow to buy 4 or 5 vises and then, with some luck, another 5" Bullet and two 5" Starret bench vises with rotating bases.![]()
Headed to Belgrade, Serbia for work this week and then to Prague, Czech Republic for vacation for the 4th weekend.
Will have to figure out how to translate "vise" in Serbo-Croat and Czech...

Interesting statement. What leads you to the conclusion that Wilton prices have topped out? Does somebody do a market analysis like they do with house prices so we can track the values of our vise portfolios?
Investment advisors always tell us to diversify. Myself, I own Wilton. Prentiss. Athol, Reed and others. I recently realized a short term capital gain of over 100% on a big Parker.
Just thought I'd throw this one out there...
The full size "Bic Lighter" is for size reference.
(Can't seem to get a clear photo, "technology"...)
Take care!

Speaking of small vises, I hope you and I are not bidding against each other on a certain little number made a long time ago in Massachusetts..
Zoom,
That's a fantastic collection of baby Prentiss's; well done!
Would love to see more pics of them.

You might get some nice svěrák York in Czech Republic through sbazar.cz or aukro.cz

Nope, your safe with me.
There is another really nice one ending soon in Camillus, New York.
Ive never seen one of these. Has anyone here seen one? Superior tool company.
Rotating head.
Trying to get it for $100. A minion find.![]()

Due to the crappy weather here, I have decided it is "Baby Bullet Admiration Day"...
Take care!

Joe,
I hope you get it.
The vise looks like a Wilton Bullet and a Cole had a child.![]()
Ahhh, now I know why prices on these are so high -- one individual owns 90% of all the baby bullets ever produced!
Wonder if I leave my 945 and 935 alone together in a dark room for a while if I'll end up with a litter or two of 920's...
