That is Awesome !!!

Thanks I think it is pretty cool myself. I will probably not be putting tools in it right away. Im planning on doing tool control foam so It will be a journey. It's a sweet little rig that will hold everything I'm required to have working on corporate aircraft plus some.

I'll post more as I go. Trying to not look crazy taking a bunch of pictures of my toolbox lol.

Looks awesome. I want one myself with forklift braces to load in my truck for different locations. Are those the full size 8" epiq casters?

They are full-size but are not the hard plastic that my 68" epiq had. These have a lot of softer rubber and glide quietly and smoothly. Idk how they would stand up to off concrete use

Well if I order one the color scheme will be about identical to yours aside from a black armor top. It's that or a side cabinet.

Thanks for posting this Gagreen, this is good info, better than the little bit the tool dealer guys know since this box is still pretty new. It's just about the perfect size of more drawer space I want to add for my set up.

If you want anymore indepth pictures let me know I'll be happy to get some. If I have one warning it would be about the smooth quiet casters. The soft rubber may "dig in" when its loaded and I can forsee it being a hassle if you run all 4 wheels castering. I will load mine up over the next few weeks and post my results

What ARE you required to have? :bounce:

Very little compared to GA, 1/4 drive stuff simple ball peen / punches, wrenches, screwdrivers... just basic airplane stuff.

Im surprised they don't bring a new version of the taco cart back.

It is a hassle to have to walk to another side of the box to get to the next set of drawers. Doesn't sound like it but it truly is an inconvenience. Mount a side box facing a different direction from your main box and try it out for a while.

I don't quite get this cart. Just seem for the money you pay you could buy a double bay box with a better layout.

There is no need for a double bay working in the shop work in. I don't want to push around a double bay when this one will fit more than i really need. It's by far the nicest single bay in the game

Ok, Gagreen, it's your fault!....you planted the seed that's been rattling around in my head for a while!!!:bounce:.....Worked a deal and ordered mine today! I had my guy get a second side slot board so I can hang stuff on both sides....now I just need to decide if I will keep the KRSC100 or not...

That a nice looking G280. With modern avionics and a real wing, the pilots I've spoken to speak highly of it. I flew the G200, among others.

They are... something... ha no I like them. It is unbelievable how quiet they are in the cabin...

Congrats, it's an awesome box.

I wish I coulda gotten down to 2800. I only got like 15% off list and the extra slot panel thrown in. Not nearly as good as all the big box deals I've done, but I'm done going bigger and bigger - some day I'm gonna need to roll all this stuff out the door. I guess I coulda tried to bring it down some more, but I got too impatient since I've been weighing more tool storage options for a few months.

I really want one, I have wanted a krl756 for years to use as a roll cart, but never seems to be any deals on them and cannot find a used one anywhere close. Year or two ago my dealer with about every other one had black 1056 boxes with a real good price on them, but I didn't want the added height. So really excited about this new epiq one, Full depth but nice work height, and of course stainless top comes included.

I think i would still get a sidekiq, but that was quoted to me at $4300. Just because of the folding lid.

I don't like how deep the top compartment is on the sidekiq, doesn't seem comfortable to be grabbing sockets out of all day, and since its 30" deep the lid sticks up a mile when open, not for me.

I've been working out of a lift lid to cart for about a year and I hate it. I like a work surface that doesn't move

Gah maybe I can buy one so I won't need a side cabinet. 2800 is a good deal.
