Not a mechanic so it's hard for me to justify new tools sometimes but I upgraded my Craftsman ratchet/sockets that I bought in the 90's for Blackhawk set. I used them today for the first time and never before realized that my Craftsman ratchets are such crude tools.

I bought a few other things, will grab a pic later.

Maybe you missed the ...And $100 trade in on my craftsman wrenches that probably wouldn't bring 40 bucks on here or eBay. Not everything from the truck can be bought as bogo or half off. $100 bucks for craftsman wrenches and a free clock (a pretty damn nice one too) i considered it a good buy. I've pretty much stopped buying from websites or GJ classifieds because I think the truck service is worth way more than a few bucks saved online.

I get it. I wasn't being nasty, I was being sincere. You obviously find value in the clock. Thus the statementabout value being relative. Some may not find value in the clock...

You've got a point of not much value in the clock. I wouldn't buy it by itself, but i guess it's a cool piece to hang in my garage.

I got this while visiting the Big D in Texas. They had a nice Sears mall there. Mostly we just have hometown stores around my area.

Well i got sucked in today, i went to collect my impact ratchet from being repaired for the 3rd rime,
This one

Dam head comes loose, unscrews and screws up the anvil gears.
So i gets on the van owing NO MONEY!! and he tempts me with a set of obstruction spanners from facom for £70.0 plus tax(vat) gggrrrrr he knows ive been after a set and been holding off for a deal

And then he shows my the small 1/2inch gun that ive only heard good things about ans says as an apology for the right angle impact that keeps failing he will do the two for £200.0 inc tax(vat)
So i had to have them both

Im happy

Rivet nut set from Marson,39315. There was a cheaper version and im not exactly sure what the difference between the 2 were, except that this one advertised as using the ribbed inserts for more security so i went with this one

And 3/8 dr 10mm SK 6 point to replace the one that vanished into the subframe of my impala and it was too damn hot to spend much time looking for it. I have spare 10mm sockets from other brands but i wanted this to be a matching set since they are fairly new.

Always great when they say your package won't be there for a 1-1.5 weeks and it shows up at your door in less than 2 days!

Sunex 3850 - awesome - why have I waited so long to buy this kit?

Mayhew 61366 - hopefully I end up liking these - the handle is small and has less grip than the Snap-on and OTC pry bars I am used to.

SK 46174 - Feels and looks just like the Snap-on extensions - I think I'll like it. Going to order the 36" after seeing how this one looks.

well i did receive my rapid air fastpipe kit yeterday (100 ft rigid 3/4")

I also felt the need to finally buy a hypertherm pm 45 with consumable kit for 1725 shipped brand new with warranty. The used market seem to be going for 1300-1400 so to me buying new with a 150 consumable kit was worth the additional 300 bucks.

Will compliment my dynasty 210 dx .

Trying to decide which mig to upgrade too, have a miller 175 . looking at a 212 or maybe 252 . I like the 252 i have at work and it kicks *** but not sure i need that at home .

My new to me Made in USA snow removal tool: 1980's vintage Toro 521 with trusty Tecumseh 5hp motor. New skids, belts, some elbow grease and a lick of paint and it's ready to go. We had two decent snow dumps last year and I told my wife I wasn't doing any more shoveling.

I have no idea why the video loaded upside down. If anyone knows, please advise.
